A pretty strange and abstract comm, by the great Sergeant16bit! Please go credit him for this experimental artwork! Also gonna be having two branching stories, one the main and canon, the other is an alternate take for headswappers like a certain Jelly Jam! :D
Head Transformation Path (Canon)

Megan Green was once a normal Meganium out in the Johto Region, was born from an egg, was a Chikorita once, then to Bayleef and then finally..Meganium! Like most pokemon she usually just wandered around the wilds of the region bringing plants back to life with her healing breath and feeding herself from time to time, occasionally having to deal with those predatory bird pokemon with a good ol Vine Whip! Though later in her life, she made some unusual friends which were that of a mighty Tyranitar and a fearsome Mightyena, both were male and they all met in some sort of valley where they bonded over going on an adventure to get out of the place while having to fight some annoying as sin Zubats and looking for stuff left behind by humans. Megan was quite intrigued by humanity more than her friends in general...wanting to integrate with them and befriend one without the need of being captured...It sounded a bit skewered to some, but she was determined someday to make it happen...and so it did in the most strangest way possible!
One Day, She and her two poke-buddies were going around in a random forest, chatting about trivial things they've been doing like scouting around some human nature parks and seeing how their kinds are going, all that jazz...Until they found something golden...shiny...it was some sort of...statue of a strange anomalous creature which had a feline body but the head was that of a humans wearing some sort of headdress that they had no idea what it even was. It didn't look like any pokemon they saw...it looked like it it was out of this world! But Megan, being the most adamant in adventuring and finding curiosity oozing relics would come over to use her vines to touch the head section like a curious kid...Which was the trigger that would change the lives of all three for the time a-head.
Her muzzle would begin to completely distort, along with her skull as her antennae would begin to recede back into her forehead...being replaced with strands of hair that began to sprout everywhere and cascaded down the sides, back and her forehead like an orange waterfall! Her eyes began to move from the sides to the front, decreasing her peripheral vision as a triangular nose began to grow out of the soon to be human-ian muzzle, the mouth beginning to lose width as the jaw bone shrank drastically. Her eye color would stay the same orange color like her original head was...but stopping at the base of her skull, her skin was now fully peach and unscaly...looking into a nearby reflective surface of the statue revealed that her entire head was converted into that of a Ginger-long-haired young human woman!
As a side effect to that, her mind was suddenly flooded with gifted knowledge about human things, the most relevant parts was towards the statue in which she was now able to identify the creature as the mythical beast known as a Sphinx. Does that mean she was now a Sphinx? Which was that of a green flowery dinosaur and not some ancient kitty cat? But alas, her friends suffered a similar fate, their heads now fully replaced with that of human girls with the Mightyena gaining long black hair and Tyranitar, long brown hair which was tied into an athletic ponytail of sorts.
The three were justifiyingly freaked out with their new heads, which were of course very unfitting towards their completely inhuman torsos, legs and arms alike, panicking, screaming...Though Megan was the one to regain all her composure and try and think this through. Using her Vine whip she would begin to carry it on her back, with her friends still together with her as now the human-headed Meganium with additional knowledge would go try and find a place for a full on human to help them in a way.
By sheer luck and coincidence, they were able to find some secluded lab which was still operational and clean, meaning someone or many could still be working their as they would go their for sanctuary...There they met the owner of a black, a young brilliant minded lab woman named Sira Who was initially and predictably so utterly baffled, shocked and spooked by the sudden appearance of three pokemon with human heads asking for their help and carrying some strange statue on their back, but due to being mostly isolated and her curiosity equalling with Megan she took them all in to her care, in which the Sphinxified dinosaur and her friends, apart from Tyra the human headed Tyranitar who was less so grateful for as they all eventually formed a bond and became official lab partners in researching this new phenomonon. Thanks to their new human heads and anatomy up there, they could speak to humans with no language barrier along with the added in memories of knowing stuff things were looking more uphill for the future of these changed pokemon.
Megan would become the sort of Ambassador for the human-headed and faced pokemon group as this magic was beginning to sort of spread, just how would they cope? what other powers could come from being a Sphinx-mon? Who knows...Megan is here to Research!

Megan Green was quite a quirky, is a bit enigmatic Scientist with her partner Pokemon Millie, who she treated as quite a large friend as also a large equal. With Ginger long hair, orange eyes and quite young and bright she was always having the knack to look for anything anomalous and weird, no matter what others might think so which did sometimes make her a bit ostracized to some certain groups of individuals or communities. But Megan just really liked doing her work, hoping to find someday to break the barrier of pokemon and human language, basically to have them talk like humans back to them which others would probably gun for too...with only electric translation being the only successful thing but was still ingenuine...but better than nothing.
One of her main focuses was on transfiguration, morphing of the body, seeing what could be done to both humans and Pokemon, in of course the ethical bubble of course which she just kept on spelunking for many magical material as she could with some other help of her mons and some of her colleagues still close friends with her. Which was of course going to help astronomically for a certain project that she was working on...an ambitious one at that!
The Machine in question was designed and prototyped to be able to switch the minds and souls of both Pokemon and human, basically a heart-swapping machine if boiled down to in the courtesy of Manaphy. Despite having many other friends that would be volunteering to test this, including some who would say that the professors should be safe from trying it. Megan, being the radical scientist she was insisted that she and Millie would be the first ever Guinea pigs for this brand new contraption, which of course was very overdesigned with safety precautions as Megan really did care for peoples safety on very overambitious levels.
Doubtfully, her colleagues would put her and Millie into the two chambers, with Millie excited that she was going to experience what its like to be a human while Megan had the contrasting interest in being a Pokemon, hoping it would help further with more research. But due to this being an untested machine with many outfitted safety features that were put in from trial and error, There was sure to be a certain hiccup to be had.
They were expecting a fault to happen in the system but this...it was unbelievable! In a flash of light with the soul and minds transferring to each others bodies in a white glow similar to how pokemon evolved...as the glow dissipated...The colleague menagerie would all give an equal gasp of confusion and shock in what happened to their central components meant for controlling their bodies.
Megan's head was now on Millie's base of her long, green dinosaurian neck, looking utterly ridiculous with the antennae-less head looking around in confusion to all the justifyingly bamboozled reactions of the full on humans, her ginger hair dangling as she did so. Millie's head meanwhile was firmly placed on the base of a human neck...which of course was owned by the fun-loving Dr. Megan who was very quick to notice thanks to her still on the side eyes giving her a differing vision perspective than her human trainer, looking to her hands and feeling the neck which signified the discovery of the separation between human skinned body and scaly head.
Upon realizing she was now a human-headed Meganium thanks to a convenient hand mirror. Megan was quite upset that this swap didn't go as smoothly as she hoped, coming out of the machine dejected with the pokemon-headed human coming out to give her a comforting hug with a stumble due to inexperience with the bipedal locomotion. However...a thought did cross Megan as she would use vine whip to flick her hair and feel her face, while Millie would feel around her head too as they began to walk around in a circle, circling each other as they tried to get used to their locomotion. While they did that, they began to contemplate their thoughts, potential...again...this machine was a prototype so many ways to iron out the flaws still and again...this was something never seen before, human headed pokemon and pokemon headed humans? who knows what possible fun could come from that!
With that with other desires like Millie wanting to be a human to help out her friend more with her science stuff and Megan wanting to experience being a pokemon but still able to talk, this might as well be a bit of a blessing in disguise as they all began getting to work, hoping someday to make lemons into lemonade and now...The bond between man and mon...would be stronger than ever as they'll not let their skewered anatomies let them down in any way or form!
The end.
Feel free to share around, face and comment your thoughts down below. I know its super weird and kinda a recently broken down aversion of mine but yeah, i do wonder what you all think of it? Gah...i might get a bit of flak for this...
Let me know if some of the stories need improving. I would like to improve my writing for the future :)
