This piece I worked on for several weeks, for a story I began writing in my high school creative writing class nearly two and a half, almost three years ago. The story revolved around the human female, Tempyst, and a shapeshifting black tiger. Draven.

People have seen these very, very rarely colored animals that have been sighted since the late 1700s and in several zoos, there are cubs being born with darkened patches of fur. I found it so interesting that I wanted to snag the concept for my story. :)

I'm still working on it, but there were more different types of shapeshifters in the story that I wanted to bring in, such as snow leopards. Draven himself is supposed to be larger than most tigers. The shapeshifters are also supposed to be larger than their animal counterparts.
