One more for tonight.
Here is Dante the Charizard, also a part of Lupin's team. He's a bit leaner than other Charizard, but he's still got a bit of a paunch going on. He's quite a cocky Charizard, always showing off when he can and considers himself up to par with any other flyer, such as Zephyr. He likes wearing a pilot's scarf, to which Lupin could never fathom (and as a matter of a fact, neither could I, but hey, Dante demanded it!). He's also got a rather nasty habit of spitting little flecks of embers out every once in a while. You know, like spitting dip (chewing tobacco). Lupin can't get him to stop, and frankly, panics enough when he sets something on fire with his tail.
She'll get over it soon enough. Dante certainly does.
Anyway, I wanted to do my own rendition of a Charizard, and like with Lugia, made my own interpretations (as many, many artists before me have made their own as well). I gave him a few extra digits on his front and hind limbs, for one, and for another, attached the membrane of his wins to his back, which would definitely help him fly a little...well, actually fly. Like a bat. Only bigger.
Lupin actually has a saddle of sorts made for him, mostly because unlike Zephyr, her legs get chafed and agitated if she rides bareback on Dante's backside. Dante's not a fan, but he'll do what she says. After all, she's the one who provides the treats and love~
Charizard belongs to Nintendo.
Prismacolor markers.
