Original characters needed to be intrinsically Halloween based in order for me to consider them for this countdown; H0LL0WD33N, being a man after my own heart in a lot of ways has a whole plethora of Halloween-themed characters, but I think Deen was the indisputable choice here... I mean, his name is a two-letter difference from 'Halloween'! You don't hit the nail on the head harder than that! Naturally, I would be remiss if I slept on such an obvious candidate -- so I didn't!
