Edwin Sketch-a-Week: W41
🎨:
sweetcrunch
Edwin working at his surveying office in the Wild West hears an unexpected knock on his door. Its a good, assertive pose. I like how the eyebrow is the only fully darkened feature in the piece. It gives the piece an unexpected pop of attitude.
FYI: I did not request Edwin to be drawn with that hefty revolver. When an artist has creative freedom sometimes you get something abstract but other times you get six rotating cylinders...
Detail = well beyond of Fair. Some features are well captured (e.g., eyes, hands, torso and shoulders) while other spots are a slight doodle.
Shape & Borders = Almost the middle, but just tipped towards the Sharp, Hard lines. There is plenty of fur fluff in this piece as well as curves (e.g., back and tail), but the main areas of focus have shape details (e.g., eyes) and that gun wielding hand is held at a near right angle.
Anthro type = Anthro, the added fur fluff tips this away from Near-Human.
Furry Art Style Category = Almost a bullseye. It is just within the boarder of Minimalistic.
