I absolutely love working with Myakishhs. I had asked them a long time ago what kind of themes they were comfortable with drawing, and although they don't share my favorite interests they weren't opposed to SOME soft and childish themes! They were kind enough to eventually bestow me with this incredibly adorable piece of art ;_;
We had been talking about outfits for a previous commission, and I sent them a really cute outfit page that I found online, only whoever made it had added a pacifier to it. I told them to ignore the pacifier and just focus on the outfit, but when it came time to deliver the finished doodle they mentioned they considered adding a version with the pacifier...WELL THAT QUICKLY TURNED INTO A NEW COMMISSION and this was born shortly afterwards :D
Myakishhs has such a soft style that lends so perfectly to gentle soft scenes like this ;_; Bedtime is a favorite theme of mine with how soft and comfy it is so it was a perfect fit! It's a theme I've gone back to a few times with them, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more to come even in the future!
GOSH THIS IS SO ADORABLE AAAA! Look at how cute she is!! Her little pose, the giant night shirt, her hugging Ducky, her...her SOFT ;_; I wasn't expecting this to be as cute as it was when I finally got to see it, it quickly became a favorite of mine! Sometimes it's the simple things that really stand out the most ^.^
There isn't too much to this idea, Penelope dressed in a cozy outfit and holding onto a favorite plushy before heading to bed! My initial idea for this commission before I handed it to Myakishhs had included a subtle peek of diaper padding from the bottom of the shirt, but sacrifices had to be made just because their art is so cute. This is not the first time I've sacrificed parts of ideas that were initially diaper focused to them, and I doubt it will be the last >.>
I really love the little hair bow they added, and the ponytail swishing to one side is such a cute touch! I didn't describe much of a pose, and when I saw this one I immediately thought of her standing up tall before heading into her room and waving good night to her friends!
I know it's not exactly checking all of the boxes for the theme, but this one is seriously one of my favorite babyfur/little images ♥
