Now we step away from North Haven for a moment and cross the Calm Sea to Broken Crescent and the Blackstone Craters.

The craters themselves aren't terribly remarkable in appearance, though, because the sand melted to glass on impact, there is a sea of glittering, glass shards covering the entire area. What makes them important is their religious significance to Torists, who believe their gods sent the Blackstone to devastate an invading army from North Haven, and their ships at anchor. The meteorite shattered mid-air and rained several chunks down on the area, thwarting the invasion. Torists went down to the craters afterwards and found a few chunks of the meteorite, burnt and blackened from reentry and impact and kept them as holy relics from their gods. It is one of the most holy sites of the Torist faith to this day.
