Sergeant Adrian Baxter (call sign 'Able'), serves as Alpha Team's leader. Formerly a Lance Corporal in the Rifles, Able demonstrated particular skill as an infantryman, which led to him being recommended for selection into the SAS. He proved himself to be a capable operator -though his instructors would often describe him as being a 'cocky little b*stard'. Upon joining the Regiment, he was quite distressed at losing his stripe, but would quickly earn new ones throughout his career. After being recruited for the 303, he was promoted to Sergeant and serves as the unit's infantry expert. Although they served in different squadrons, Able and Elder have a common bond as SAS operators- a fact that has given them mutual respect, even if they don't always see eye-to-eye.
