Now I'm sure you're confused, 'designed' doesn't sound right, no person is designed but by the gods themselves, right? Except you're not a person, per se. Not only is Venus clockwork in her own right, the key shoved in her back is cursed. At first, it was to keep the time-displaced, dollified, and brainwashed empress from becoming an even bigger issue than the lich, but as memories returned and the magic waned, the key now serves as an excellent tool for..."convincing" others to become compliant, clockwork dolls too~
