I haven't been able to draw a lot because of a heavy workload from college, but things have slowed down a bit. I've been looking forward to the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and after getting my hands on it, I've been enjoying it a lot! It's really a fantastic game, and it's helped me manage some of my stress and lack of inspiration. Seriously, any screenshot from the game looks incredibly pretty. I'd like to use it to help with design and colors in the future, maybe.

With that said, I tried to draw J8 as if he were a protagonist in a mainline SMB title. His design already doesn't quite fit with the original style, and I felt it'd be odd just to have him in the Mario Bros.' trademark outfit, so I tried to personalize it a bit more. It's not perfect, and it's definitely not in-style, but it's definitely a start!

Sorry for the lack of updates on comms/trades; while I'm less busy now than the past few weeks, my current workload isn't easily flexible to consistently draw in there. Hopefully that changes!
