The prompt was their character playing gameboy.

One adorable thing that struck me about their character is that their ref sheet highlighted their OC themself are very oldschool/low-spec, so I immediately pictured them amazed by the gameboy's tech in terms of miniaturization.

Came up with this more specific and cute idea they'd be the one running low on battery from playing it so much :3
I like to picture that if a synth's battery gets too low it'll kick in an automatic protocol to go find a nearby power outlet (or batteries?) plug itself then sleep until fully recharged :3
Maybe they still have time to beat the elite four but they'll be alright either way!

I used to play DS until it'd blink red and then some, saving asap but eventually my DS lite's battery got so old it wouldn't warn me battery was about to die anymore. Think DS is still my favourite console of all time for its library, portability, novelty, comfort (It'd be switch now, if not for drift...)
