Attempting a more gritty look, experimenting and having fun with splotches of ink and messy paper and Valariah seemed the most appropriate for this look.
The mouse Valariah with her piercing red gaze gives only a small window to the weight she holds. As the weeks shape to months with her on The Rocketeer, Captain Rabbit rarely catches a moment that turmoil doesn't beget the mouse's stare, even in her smile. The time a glow of pride hit her bright eyes is when she talks of her parents, but even those stories are vague. Her father was quite the fan of the tarts that she claimed she was very good at making.

Oooooo. Hehehe! Gritty look: Success. ^!^ All that red from here eyes and coat (love how they match, btw) just radiates hard against the neutral white. But then, it's ominous color even gives the white an intense look. ^!^ All like blood stains on a white doctor's gown. She looks intense, but what she thinks or hides, who knows? She's got such a stoic face. ^!^

Quite edgy this one. I really should return to this gritty look some time. I'm very glad you enjoy the intensity of this one, it's one of my personal favorites still ^///^
I love the mystery behind Valariah. Someone that seems to want to engage with the crew and be jovial as they are. Something seems to be stopping her, however. What that is? I guess we shall see!!
