Gosh, I've been wanting to make both an MS Paint inspired piece and a piece with the phrase "Love yourself the way you loved your first OC" for a long time. I finally managed to have my braincells connect those two ideas together. :)
Almost EVERYTHING in this piece is made FROM SCRATCH! The only things that aren't are some of the stickers, the four desktop icons, and the internet explorer icon. I had gotten REALLY tired of recreating everything PIXEL BY PIXEL with THE CURVATURE OF THE SCREEN at that point.
I probably spent about 16 hours perfectly recreating a Windows desktop with MS Paint and maybe 20 minutes actually drawing the image lmao. The character in the middle is Giran, my actual first OC from around middle school. I managed to draw him pretty close to how I originally drew him based on the few scraps I could find. :)
Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy my esoteric piece about childhood creativity in the early 2000's lol
Edit: Like always, I forget to link to my Etsy store if you would like to hang this on your wall lol

Thank you so much, Asalvus! Getting everything warped JUST RIGHT was a real challenge and there are still so many imperfections haha! But at a certain point, the amount of time you spend fixing something doesn't make sense when you can call it "good enough" :P A flat panel DEFINITELY would've been easier!
