Don't get me wrong, I see what you're going for here, but... I feel as if this setting is very ripe for a "Pomni situation". Particularly because you've explained how one gets in, but not how one gets out.
I can picture an overwhelmed visitor demanding to be shown the exit, only to be judged as silly because "who would want to leave such a fun place?", and promptly subjected to one wacky punishment or another.
