Original description: Lord Gigatron, ruler of the Digital World himself. He is loved by some, and hated by others. Some see his life history as a tale of strength and glory, while others see it as a tragedy that nobody has the right to joke about. Though all are in agreement that Gigatron is one of the most powerful beings in existence, who has wiped out entire species, universes, dimensions and even pantheons of Gods alongside their realities through violence and manipulation, and rebuilding them in his own image.
In the years following his first steps out of his Digi-egg, Gigatron had no clue how powerful he would rise to become. He had simply referred to himself as Guilmon when he was young, since that
was the name of his Digimon species. But the Digital World was in great strife, with unruly Digimon infighting and conflict in full swing. Despite this, his childhood was a memorable one, something
that he holds close to his heart even today. When he suddenly found himself on Earth, he would meet Takato Matsuki, a human boy who would go on to become his greatest friend. Their adventures are
recalled in Digimon Tamers, though only Guilmon knows if the events of Digimon Tamers are truthful. Guilmon and Takato would soon become part of an organization known as Jetix. Little is known about
Jetix, for the information pertaining to the place is heavily guarded by Digimon hands. But Gigatron and Takato were known to have been a part of the inner circle of rulers that ran Jetix, known as
the Lord-Jetixians. The years of his childhood and his rule over Jetix are known by Gigatron as The Glory Days, where nothing was wrong and all was well. Each day of his life back then was a memory
to be treasured, though at that time he was younger and more gullible, and the events that would unfold later were something he could have never imagined in his wildest dreams.
Five years after the founding of Jetix in 2004, Jetix would celebrate their 5th anniversary. The celebration itself was overwhelming with positive emotions, according to Gigatron himself, and his
young heart could never had been more happy. But The Glory Days were just not meant to last. On that same year, a particularly evil human known as Bob Iger would launch an all-out assault on Jetix's
headquarters. Fortified as Jetix was, that grand palace of dreams come true was shattered into bloody ruin, some who tried to escape Iger's forces were killed, though Guilmon had escaped with his life,
Takato had went missing during the shootings. After the horrific actions of The Death Of Jetix, Guilmon returned to the Digital World with a crushed soul and a broken heart. The Digital World's inhabitants
too felt Jetix's death, and memorialised it as best they could. Guilmon spent the next 2 years in shameful hiding, wishing to leave to the next life. These 2 years would be referred to as the Twin Years Of
Pain by Digimon historians.
These years ended once the Renamon who he had fought alongside with in Digimon Tamers found him. Though this Renamon's name is unknown, she encouraged Guilmon to bring the Digital World into it's own golden age, and to take terrifying revenge against the ones who destroyed Jetix. Guilmon agreed. Over the next 4 years Guilmon's influence grew quickly, gathering many supporters willing to fight for
him in the name of a peaceful world. Once The Years Of Return were over, the Digital World had become a place of peace and goodness. And those who went against this golden age were killed, many at the
hands of Guilmon, who had renamed himself Gigatron at the start of The Years Of Return. Over the years, Gigatron's rule became more militant...
Having brought greatness to the Digital World, Gigatron then turned his attention to the world that Jetix once existed in. Gathering his forces and making a bloody, fearful example out of Bob Iger and
his company, Disney. Despite having spared those humans who hated Bob Iger's greed, humanity was ungrateful. They attacked Gigatron's forces, forcing them to leave back to the Digital World. Gigatron
was enraged that the nature of humans meant that they would always make the wrong decisions, and thus started his war against all species he refers to as "scrap species". Those races too consumed by
their own greedy, violent or manipulative nature to be left alive. This even extended to the Gods who created unfair and hostile realities that eventually killed those who lived in them.
But to truly succeed, Gigatron wished to preserve as much Digimon life as he could. This led him hacking into a strange realm of psychic energy created by a race of old tyrants who were too arrogant
and busy to notice the Digimon who were about to doom them. This dimension became a testing ground for their great weapon, a pantheon of terrifying gods who slaughtered, manipulated and corrupted all
scrap species in their path while protecting Digimon with their lives.
Many other events unfolded that lead to the present day. Such as the Pokemon declaring war against the Digimon to destroy their extradimensional gods of ruin, the creation of the Digi-masters and
Gigatron himself joining the Forsaken Jetbikers. Though Gigatron has his own motives...
Gigatron's weaponry is vast. His default weapon of choice is the Giga Buster, a large rocket launcher that can fire rapid projectiles and the elemental powers Gigatron learns from robot masters or
similar creatures. Not only is he heavily armed, but can also transform into a jetbike like those in Forsaken and has the power to threaten ultimate level Digimon even in his default rookie level form.
Though he has not changed in personality, he is a power that not even a black hole can keep down for long...
ALL HAIL GIGATRON!
Took us long enough to finally get around to meeting Gigatron himself. I was aching to finally get here, in fact!
Now, a WHOLE LOT of the massive wall of lore dump is no longer canon now that Ordna Awakens is a thing, but do expect some of the lore to seep through into Ordna's story such as his power level, enough to easily dwarf the power levels of Stephen Baxter's poorly written garbage. Gigatron's redesign is also going to be posted on Newgrounds too, so keep an eye out for that once I roll it out! I don't really know what I was going for with his design to be fair, but expect a cooler and consistent new design that also takes into account the new power of transforming into vehicles that many of the Ordna characters now have. Also expect Gigatron to be far less of a 2D cartoon villain as well, and actually have more character.
