Whatever the Grelt are, this guy must be REALLY confident in his own combat skills. Openly insulting a Y'vakkon who is already extremely cheesed off to his face doesn't strike me a good idea, normally.
Looking more like the Grelt wanted a ready source of prey more than they wanted to just steamroller the Sheebian in a trade deal. It would make sense then why he wanted Dem'mit bumped off - he figured the Y'vakkon wanted the same thing and were just rival predators at the table. If that's the case, this Grelt really doesn't know Dem'mit very well, does he?
