GOSH I LOVE THESE TWO! This was originally me spitballing an idea with Penelope in some fancy attire. At first it was going to be some creepy anomaly rose monster Penelope in a nice white dress, and then from there the idea kind of mutated into a wedding dress and we both really loved the idea and went with it instead.
I imagine this as a ceremony where they time it with the setting of the sun, a very special time for vampires...as the last rays fall below the horizon they are now joined together in an eternal bond and get to enjoy their first night truly together ♥ I doubt a whole lot really changes between the two of them after this, as they were already living together at this point, but it's the gesture and memories that count!
Originally it was going to be JUST Penelope, but Lenore ended up appearing randomly in the image and there was nothing either Catling or I could do to stop her (nor would we want to) so now they're happily married as vampires :D For anyone trying to keep up with this AU, this is after Penelope is turned and spent a while living with Lenore.
The outfits here are both so pretty, I love Penelope's little dress it is SO fitting for her. The wide brim hat is an all-time favorite for me, and the cute little flower decorations in addition to the cutesy strawberry hair clip give the outfit such a fun air :D We decided that the long gloves she has on used to belong to Lenore a long time ago too! Lenore is going with a more traditional vampiric crimson dress, but I think it looks amazing on her! I especially like how Catling did the shading for Lenore's dress.
Lenore is SO BEAUTIFUL! I shouted about how much I love her design in her debut post of mine not too long ago, but UGH! She is a gorgeous, lovely lady and she is exactly what I was hoping for when I let Catling design her! She could have ended up being anything I think, but Catling hit all the right traits to make her just perfect ♥
...There is something so special about seeing an otherwise cold character break their usual stone face and smile ;_;

I remember this artwork from the Catling page, but I really like the details about their vampire history here, so I'll definitely save this post too, hahah!~ I love the contrast in their couple. Even though they're both cute and small, Penelope feels even more delicate next to Lenore. Thank you for the art with them!
Gosh I'm going to have to tell the full story sometime x.x One day there will be enough art of the two of them to tell it, hopefully!

Lenore is definitely way taller than Penelope, I think she's tall too she's just always leaning over to interact with Penelope XD Penelope absolutely is the delicate one though :x
