Original description: Yo yo yo! It's the first pic of 2022. We're off to a great, if not sleepy start. So I found this OC someone (I don't know who, forgive me!) made back in 2021 and I wanted to make a fan pic of her. Happily, I was allowed to draw her and this is the result of her in my artstyle. I enjoy Akemi's head the most despite it being cartoony. The rest of her clothes are wildly different compared to her original image, a result of her crossing into the world of Street Soul / Jet Set Radio Future.

I'm not exactly sure who created Akemi originally and who she belongs to, but hopefully someone can enlighten me soon.

Now this was indeed a brilliant way to start off 2022! With a good piece of wholesome non-request art of a cool character who was almost lost to time due to AronTW seemingly deleting the image of Akemi shortly after I made this image. This was also the start of me playing about with character reference sheet ideas for Street Soul, complete with the stats that a character would have in game. I actually took a lot of time making Akemi look as brilliant as possible and making the image look like something that could be in Street Soul's character select screen. Also the colours and Akemi's tagger icon are also present. Overall I'm so happy to revisit this again. I do hope to make an updated version of this masterpiece in 2024.
