Group
The next day, Scooby, Pearl, Cherry, and Envelop trained for six hours under the directions of Wings and the blobs’ parents. For Wings, he guided the sphere siblings on their speed and directions. Along with being covered by his potions to hinder their enemies. For the parents, they teach Scoob about deflecting projectiles which sometimes used as substitutes for punches and kicks with Envelop controlling the constrictions on both parents.
After training, Envelop tried to wrap Scooby-Doo for cuddles, but the latter told it no. After a few times with Pearl’s help, it finally respects his decision. In exchange, Scooby would pet it while Envelop would cuddle his cheeks individually.
Wings realized he forgot to transform into anything. Which is understandable, given he was cooped up in his lab for months followed by being forcibly transported into a different world, adapting to this place, and was chased around by some suspicious figures. Wings apologized to Scooby for not remembering this sooner and the Great Dane forgave him.
The arachnid decided to transform training since it had been while. Luckily, he have some of the herbs to transform into anything. Wings ate a quarter of the amount and waited.
For some reason, it didn’t work. He tried again. Same result. He was puzzled and a little panicked by this which Scooby and Pearl comforted him. Maybe the portal or something in this world was preventing him to transform. He had theory on who it is, but there is scant proof. For now, he needs the group to get ready for their counter attack.
So far, those goons still never appeared since that chase. However, the group knew they’ll appear very soon. Wings made a plan on dealing with them. The plan was to capture one of them for interrogation and cripple their fighting skills. Still, there are some questions they have to leave out like “Why Wings and Scooby were brought into this world?” since it is unlikely that they would answer it so easily. Once everyone agreed with the plan, Wings declared that they would enact it in the next few days to spot these goons.
Wings
After setting up their plan, they are ready to rest until tomorrow. However, Wings decided to chat with the parents.
“Hey, there is something I like to address you two,” Wings said.
The spheres agreed.
“I know this… Mad wizard and his minions never bothered you. Since we are attacking his goons and capturing one of them, I’m worried he might retaliate by destroying your home and hurting you.”
The adult blobs reassured him that it's fine and they know the consequences. They have an evacuation plan if it comes to this.
“Okay, let’s hope my plan goes without a hitch.”
Group
For the next two days, there were no sign of these goons. When they’re not searching for them, they hone in their skills for Wings’s plan. The parents guarded their home while they wait for their pursuers. When they’re not training or searching for them, Scoob and Wings developed their bonds with Cherry, Pearl, their parents, and Envelop like gathering food, small talks, and playing quick games. On the third day, that plan can finally spring into action.
Envelop found two of the goons and the group waited for their attack. Both minions were side by side with each other as they patrolled this path. The group were hidden in the weird trees and bushes to prepare their ambush.
Once they were in the party’s range, they strike at them. Wings threw his concoctions at them to stun them for a few seconds. Envelop wrapped, restrained, and squeezed the left side goon. The other goon was attacked by the spheres’ curveballs with Scooby tackling him while dodging their balls’ movements. The wrapped less goon fought back with punches and kicks, but he was quickly overwhelmed.
The group won their battle when the non-restrained goon fled. They came back with the restrained one to the balls’ home then moved to Scooby’s and Wings’s quarters. Once they set up their prisoner, they started interrogating him.
During the interrogation, they never expected the goon to answer most of their questions. Especially on why are the two here. However, he was a bit more cooperative than they expected. The goon explained that size of his organization was around 50 individuals; it was founded 5 years before the duo’s “arrival”; and location of their headquarters which is fifty miles away.
While the two were grateful that he was answering their questions, they were getting suspicious that he was easily cooperating. It was too easy.
“I’m surprised that you haven’t asked why were you brought here,” said the goon.
They were spooked by this. A bit more so with Scooby, but they remained composed.
“We didn’t think you would answer that,” Wings replied.
“I admit, I’m a little out of the loop too, but I have my theories, but I doubt you want that. Although, I think you’ll find out very soon enough.”
At first, they didn’t understand what he meant. Or they don’t want to understand he met. Suddenly, they heard some yells from outside. The two went to check and what they saw confirmed their fears.
They saw about two dozen of those goons and their leader, Erenlzai Moprothzin front of the blobs’ den. One of the spheres’ parents followed them.
“Why hello there,” Erenlzai greeted, “Let’s get right down to business. I heard you have one of my friends. So, how about a trade? My friend’s freedom, the both of you surrender, and we’ll leave your new friends alone in exchange for this.”
He showed two bubble-like projections. To Scooby’s and Wings’s horror, they saw their friends in them going on with their lives. The two didn’t need ask what the leader is going to do with them since he can reach them. Both of them look at each other and silently agreed on what to next.
“Alright, we’ll surrender,” Wings answered, “We’ll say goodbyes and walk slowly.”
Scooby and Wings said their goodbyes to the sphere family and walked slowly with their prisoner and Envelop, who was restraining him. Once they reached him, Scooby made one more request.
“Rou can release rim rao. Re’ll ree rokay.” Scooby said.
Envelop hesitantly freed him, cuddles the dog for the final time, and leaves them back to the den. Once the deed was done, the mad wizard conjured up a portal and then he, his goons, and the two walked into the portal.
Scooby-Doo and Wings
When they left the portal, the surrounding area was flat wasteland with no sign of his base. Erenlzai ordered his formerly restrained goon and his peers to subdue them. Three goons pushed and hold Scooby to the ground while the previously imprisoned one grabbed Wings. None of them resisted. Fearing any major struggle would hurt or kill any of their friends.
“I have to admit, you two really have the balls to kidnap my fellow employee,” Erenlzai said, “Not the first mind you, but still. It is very rare since my “opponents” usually just beat them up or hide from them. But I’ll tell you about it later after putting you to sleep and going back to my home.”
The wizard reached for his right jacket pocket and pulls out a bottle with liquid and two towels. He pours on both of them and put them on to his prisoners’ lower part of their faces. It was clear that this liquid is chloroform or something similar to it. Unfortunately, these took a while to knock Scoob and Wings out unlike in the movies. Erenlzai didn’t mind this and savors every second of this. This action took thirty-five minutes to pass the Great Dane and scorpion out.
