The KO'd virtuous dog warrior loses his honor and his shirt!

When the city of Tokyo mysteriously became linked between multiple worlds, strange gateways and foreign creatures started to appear within the metropolis. These creatures became known as Transients, beings from other mythological worlds that were suddenly summoned and tethered to Tokyo, unable to leave the large prefecture of Japan. Transients come in many shapes and forms, each with their own set of skills, personalities, and origins. However, everyone must now coexist with each other in the strange situation they have been thrown into. Such coexistence lies within the many schools and academies that stretch across the wards of Tokyo. Ranging from staff members to students, humans and Transients work together to create a stable academic environment where anyone can exemplify their interests and talents. Unfortunately, as one can expect from a school environment, bullies and gangs try to disrupt the peace. They commonly ambush and beat up vulnerable targets, robbing their valuables and humiliating them. Several students and bystanders have been targeted…with the most recent victim being a certain canine Transient.

Classes had already finished for the day at Shinjuku Academy, leaving some students to attend their selected club. In the case of the kendo club, Moritaka is a very dedicated member. Originally coming from a world that waged countless wars, the virtuous dog warrior devoted himself to becoming an honorable samurai for his family, always carrying the sacred sword that he inherited in a bag worn around his back. As part of his daily training routine, Moritaka decided to go to the school’s kendo dojo, but found that nobody was inside when he entered. There would usually be other club members and swordfighters in the room, training and sparring. Moritaka dismissed it with the possibility of being the only attendee today, but he felt a bit uneasy. Upon finishing his lone kendo practice, he made his way through the martial arts district of the academy towards the bathhouse. He was looking forward to taking a wash after working up quite a sweat, preemptively unbuttoning his shirt and taking off his jacket, exposing some of his chest fur. Opening the door into the lobby of the bathhouse, the building seemed to also be empty as well as the district he passed through. However, Moritaka’s senses said otherwise…and his suspicions were quickly confirmed by the appearance of three wolf students. They revealed themselves as a gang, thinking that wolves are superior to dogs and other “tamed” canines. Each of them seemed to specialize in unarmed combat as they raised their fists towards Moritaka, ready to show who is the superior canine.

Seeing that a battle was inevitable in the bathhouse, Moritaka reached for his sacred sword, taking it out of the bag and dropping his jacket to the floor. He decided to keep the blade in its sheath, wanting to remain honorable and only use his sword to defend himself. Despite seeing the sheathed weapon in sight, the three wolf bullies charged in with little hesitation. Unsurprisingly, the trained Moritaka is able to block and deflect nearly all of the wolves’ punches and swipes with ease, staving off the pointless attacks. However, one of the wolves is able to circle around and grab Moritaka’s unbuttoned shirt from behind, surprising him for a moment as his shirt gets ripped off from his body. In that moment, the other two wolves see their chance and disarm the dog of his precious sword before punching him in the snout! As the sword skids away on the floor of the bathhouse, punched out of his hands, the shirtless Moritaka stumbles back into the arms of the wolf behind him and gets grabbed. Holding their opponent in place, the wolves deliver an endless onslaught of punches into the dog’s gut and face, forcing an audible bark from him with each hit! As they saw how Moritaka’s consciousness started to fade, they released him from the grab to deliver a triple uppercut to the jaw, all three of them providing the finishing blow!

Moritaka weakly yelped before slowly stumbling around…and eventually dropping onto his back, flat on the wooden floor of the bathhouse. He tilted his head to look at his sacred sword on the floor…disappointed in himself to lose in such a dishonorable way. It only added insult to injury as he saw the wolf delinquents loot his precious sword along with his shirt and jacket. Slowly closing his eyes, the now unconscious and shirtless Moritaka panted heavily alone in the bathhouse, his sweaty torso rising and falling from his breathing. Even though the dog warrior would soon wake up hours later, his honor for his family felt tarnished to him…He would have to dedicate himself to more training once he finds his stolen belongings.
