The scene continues with a twist: both Dunsparce and Virizion remains at the inn, the latter to rest after her long travel, the first because he needed the confort of his friend Emolga. The Pawniard brothers, hearing his problems, decide to go with their usual scam, but instead of acting shady and suspicious this time they decide to be friendly and so they introduce themselves to the group, stating they can make Dunsparce stronger in order to impress Virizion. The group trusts them and the protagonist even presents herself shaking the hand, until her Dimensional Scream kicks in. The vision she has sees the Pawniard brothers threatening Dunsparce for his pokes.

After that the scene continues with the protagonist shocked by what happened to her, but instead of letting them know that she just says Dunsparce doesn't need it. However Dunsparce decides to follow the two Pawniards and the protagonist tries to stop him, only to be stopped by the partner and Emolga. The protagonist decides to tell them what she saw, and even if at first they don't believe her the partner suddenly remembers he heard, in a faraway territory he crossed before coming here, the Pawniard brothers were dangerous outlaws, so they decide to listen to the protagonist and go rescue Dunsparce. The rest is the same as the game, only with everyone wondering about what happened to the protagonist.
