Across the vast sea, past the forests and over the mountains resided the mysterious dragoness queen. Once a lonesome orphan spared by the titanic beasts of fire, she has grown to rule over them, inheriting their physical grandeur and power. Gifted with scales and claws, wings, and flaming hair, the queen looks over the horizon. Though she shows lack of intrigue, the queen's intimidating appearance masks her love for the morning sun.
Insert Game of Thrones joke here or something, I never saw the show.
Wanted to put Opal into something akin to a fantasy epic, so a derg gal sounded like a fun scenario.
Design-wise, Opal's appearance was heavily inspired based on the Mythical Muse Dragon Empress Barbie (best get used to that name being mentioned, by the way).
