Pencil sketch: Super Mario 3 Sledge Sister (female Koopa)
"Not today, Mario!"
In "Super Mario Bros. 3" and its Saturday Morning cartoon adaptation, there were enemies called the Sledge Bros. This is a female version of one of them.
I've considered a few different names for her, but I think I've settled on Kaylie Koopa. Summer Sledge is another one I considered.
Based on a dream I once had, covered in this journal entry:

"Last night I had a strange dream with an attractive, buff female koopa troopa in it. I was watching a cartoon or movie in which she had defeated and captured Mario and Luigi and was dragging them down a castle hall by their feet, but was having second thoughts and was probably going to switch sides. She was short in the manner of a koopa troopa, but buff and heavily built in a stylized way and noticeably feminine. I didn't have any direct interaction with this character, but instead, I was trying to think of what job she could have if she accompanied Mario and Luigi back to Brooklyn in the human world. This included working for their plumbing business and becoming an MMA fighter. Then, for some reason, I called an entertainment magazine and excitedly left them a message with these ideas. (Why I was calling an entertainment magazine and not Nintendo, I have no idea.) It seemed very urgent to let them know about it. However, the message was cut off before I could leave my phone number and while I was trying to call them back, a friend called me about playing Yahtzee (???) and the dream shifted to being about that. So yeah, anyway...hot buff morally conflicted female koopa troopa."
What I remember most of all from the dream is those feminine eyes. While Koopa minions are often shown with kind of distant expressions, hers were intense and focused.
Based mostly on the design from the cartoon. The Sledge Bros, appeared in a few episodes. In one, they were wrestlers who easily tossed around Mario and Luigi, until of course, the good guys turned the tide.
Drawn partly on the train to Universal Studios Hollywood (feat. Super Nintendo World.) Here's a photo collage from that trip:
