I often see people cop out of say they cant do backgrounds..

WELL.. the only way to improve and be good at something is PRACTICE!!

Starting now i CHALLENGE ALL ARTISTS!!

Do one BG or more a day for 10 days...here are the options.

Ocean scene
Sky scene (day and night)
Cloudy scene (or weather)
mountain (snow or tropical volcano)
forest scene (or jungle)
desert scene (or wasteland)
city scene (or apocalyptic dead one)
fantasy scene (or crazy drugged out world)
space scene
fabric filled tent, home, just lots of drapery, droopy shiny shit
crystal palace/place
deep cave (poorly lit scene)
