OMG. Chick boiz. That makes so much sense.
I can totally picture this happening in Season 2 too. Like maybe Sera limits his interaction so he doesn't panic too many winners (or, more likely, reveal it to the surviving exorcists who won't be too happy to learn that a sinner went to Heaven on the same day so many of their number didn't return) so Sir Pentious starts creating chick helpers and sends one to the embassy with a letter to the Hazbin Hotel.

Yeah, I think Sera won't literally confine him but will obstruct and try really hard to convince him he can just stay at home. And when he finally does go outside, to keep him supervised and probably have a few cringe moments when he says or does something that makes it obvious where he came from.
Chaperone: "Now remember, no-"

Well, they tolerated Adam, who was much more vulgar and obscene than Pentious was even in Hell. So I think whatever holdovers Pentious still has will get a lot more s, s and s than any kind of pearl-clutching. Though I can envision a story arc where Pentious wants to return to Hell, first to let Charlie know that redemption is possible but later because he just doesn't feel like he belongs there.
