What has been changed:
- The nose was completely replaced, the old plastic one was already just falling out and peeling off badly, with the new nose the muzzle has lengthened a little, it is sharper. Even his gaze changed, he became even more studying and attentive. The new spout is more textured, more realistic than the old one, and is made of soft silicone. The front part of the muzzle had to be slightly filed under it and fastened back together. I replaced the fur a little (I found old pieces of exactly the same in my bins), because the noses were different in size, I had to increase them due to the lengthening of the muzzle.
- There was a little more fur on the cheeks to make the wolf’s mane even more impressive
- A new zipper with lint protection has been installed
- One of the hinges has been restored. The plastic from which they were made was still of an old type, and in some places it began to break due to time or transportation. It was extended, strengthened, like the rest of the hinges, and completely restored. I really hope that he will now live for many more years. I tried to injure the she-wolf as little as possible, so everything was done very carefully
- New silicone tongue installed
- The edges of the fur of the mask are framed and decorated so that it looks neat and the edge does not fray
- Removed old glue residues inside, where it was possible to do so or were carefully closed
- Completely repainted to cover the “spotty” structure of the fur and update its appearance, new markings were made, including very bright and durable red paint.
- Well, and of course, first of all, she was washed with conditioner and dried, so that the fur was sparklingly clean and pleasantly fluffy.
I really hope that Alu will delight her owner and us for a very, very long time and we will be able to see her as often as possible.
