All these big boys are hella handsome and I’m really wondering why they’re all tied up like that. They’re certainly baddies, which is very hot (Love me some bad boys in trouble hehe).

And that big fluffy wolf getting scratches like a little puppy is sooooo cute. Loving the waggy tail. I swear your art never disappoints. Always a pleasure seeing your stuff.

I could imagine them to bed bad guys from a kids cartoon, not really dangerous, more the types whose worst crime would be to steal the sausages that are meant foor a party, or something like that.

I can be totally wrong, but did you painted those drawings using digital art? It seems different from your usual black and white pictures that looks almost like watercolor or something x3!

Some people allready told me, that they could sense often a story behind my pics, which is an honor for me.

As for your question: I have drawn the pic traditionally. I scanned it as black and white photo or text (one of the limited options from my scanner) and then worked on it with microsoft paint, filling in black spaces like the wolf´s shirt or the hyenas hair and some "Rasterfolien" effects like the wolf´s pants or the striped hyena´s shirt.

Silly dog. As if the hyaenas weren’t smelly enough already.

Also, that dog is dangerously close to getting kicked.

A lesson the other two shall learn the hard way.

If my German is correct then this picture would be titled 'watered poodles' or something similar, so I suspect that would be an expression meaning something like appearing downcast or disappointed and describing the two poor hyena's feelings, given that the only attention given them was by a dog marking them as his territory.

Spotted hyena, well he's more than a little scruffy, in need of a good bath at the least given he would appear a little malodorous and his rather ragged tattered clothing, though would probably clean up rather nicely. Striped hyena, well he's rather charming, well groomed and he is well dressed, perhaps wondering what it is that he lacks that make the wolf so irresistibly charming.

It's all down to the fluffiness of the wolf's fur really and he's the sort of big fellow that just looks irresistibly cuddly so of course he ends up getting all the attention, clearly very contented with his situation.

I wonder if the trio perhaps came to be bound and gagged for the crime of disturbing the peace, the hyenas with incessant cackling laughter and the wolf unable to resist a howl.

You are correct there. Here on this pic, it has a symbolic and a somewhat litteral meaning at once.

Receiving no cuddles is meant to be their punishment so they can reflect on their wrongings.
