4 Years have passed sinc emy last ref sheet and I originally have been planning to keep it up every two years!
The reason is quite simple: I rarely sit down and brainstorm a design for my character, I develop them constantly with every illustration so it's moreso a capture of how I currently imagine him. I've tried to balance a simple surface with a little bit of intricacy.
My shapes and features were more refined, little additions left out and replaced with more nuances. Next up will be a clothed version of this ref. I'm still debating over its design though.

Ohhh I wouldn't have thought it had this effect, I just frankly like these stripes ^v^
Hmmm I'd love to do more hawaiian shirt stuff but the current setting doesn't allow for it, I'll have to wait for the next opportunity when I can take him out into our world to wear one ^v^

Hmm I like the voodoo impression! Wasn't aiming for it at all but curious as to what makes you think that :P
And yes, sharp eye! The chest crystal didn't fit the setting and the ring at least somewhat has something to do with it mhm
Yeh, 4 years. The design itself didn't change much but you can tell the polish and change to shapes of certain things has come quite some way
