That sideways look she's giving in the last panel tells a story all by itself. The wolf over her is distracted, turning away to look at the unexpected attack upon the one he was supposed to be protecting, but that was a fatal mistake, for in doing so he leaves his throat exposed.
The young wolf was right about one thing. There will be a lot of blood. Especially when that she wolf sinks her teeth into the jugular presented to her.

I can't decide between quoting:
Anna: "I think if you're going to kill someone, kill them! Don't stand there talking about it!"

Lucius: "So now I'm in deep trouble. I mean, one more jolt of this death ray and I'm an epitaph. Somehow I manage to find cover and what does Baron von Ruthless do?"
Bob: "He starts monologuing."
Lucius: "He starts monologuing! He starts like, this prepared speech about how *feeble* I am compared to him, how *inevitable* my defeat is, how *the world* *will soon* *be his*, yadda yadda yadda."
Bob: "Yammering."
Lucius: "Yammering! I mean, the guy has me on a platter and he won't shut up!"

Why do I have the feeling that Singer's glee of murdering wolf pups was not the first time he showed that side. We still don't know the back story of Scree, but I have the feeling that Scree had pups as well and bowed to Singer and the pack and let them be killed "for the greater good" and Singer showing that he is a bloodlustiung maniac just was the tipping point.
And now it is 2 on 2 should Seral not arrive. But I think he is on his way to kill the pups (which I hope will fail as Rask finds them and protects them). And as others said one might already be dead as Swift will pounce on that opportunity to to kill Singer's bodyguard.
