So, any of you do anything fun this past week? Especially, like, Monday, when some party or parties unknown made off with the sun and they called it an 'eclipse'? Well, I had fun and I'm sorry so many other people got all tense for some reason! Anyway it all worked out.

If I were organized I would have drawn this two weeks ago, but I'm not, and I didn't, and, I'm happy it was drawn at all. Giving the sun a face was a last-minute addition and just what it needed. I also like the light-pen streaks of light however dubious their logic is. Also dubious: the logic of the shadows, but I'm not good enough to have shadows that make sense.

The use of a generic alligator and bunny in the background shows how shallow my bench of background characters is. There's, what, Spunky, that headless hydra and their pooltoy otter friend, and that's it? And the alligator is basically Albert drawn wrong.
