I’m thrilled to announce the availability of Six Degrees, a new collection of stories in the world of Long Division.
This book explores the notion that all people in the world are connected by no more than six degrees of separation (that is a friend of a friend of... well, you get the idea). It is certainly true of my coyote, Tracy Becker, who anchors the cast of characters in this book.
Part 1 features Tracy and those closest to him, including his bear, Roy, and his dear friend, Lucy.
Part 2 brings us tales of Tracy’s daughter, Jessica, plus her son, L. Roy, and his friends.
Part 3 is an all-equine section with plenty of horsing around.
Part 4 is a tale of abuse and emancipation by a wolf several degrees removed but still connected to Tracy.
I’m very pleased to have
Oli_Snowpaw back again to provide the cover art and illustrations. Six Degrees is available for purchase in paperback and electronic editions at http://www.LD-Books.com/
NOTE: Six Degrees and all of the books in the Long Division series contain adult content for readers age 18 and up only.

Alternative Blurb: Inspired by the sight of a bare glistening chest of a stallion upon stage, Tracy Becker called upon his stage idol and hero Chet Paxton to be his mentor and Sifu in his journey to stardom. Little did the 'yote know, the spotlight of the stage is equal parts embarrassment as it is glory. Sometimes even more so. Things are going to get even hotter by Six Degrees...or even hotter.
I almost expected the other seats to be filled with people dozing off, reading, or otherwise waiting for their turn. The empty seats however convey a sense of "more people are coming", just like more actors (story characters) are coming on stage later to perform their roles!

Regarding the lack of other people, it’s mainly about focusing on the important characters. But it’s also about economics: additional characters take more effort and so make the art more expensive. Besides, having them out of the way gave me room for that blurb on the back cover.
