While you may know Merv Griffin was the creator of "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!", amongst the many other things he did, including the wonderful music he wrote and performed, it was actually his then-wife, Julann, who wrote the original theme for the first era of "Jeopardy!", entitled "Take Ten." This was used from 1964 to 1975 when NBC aired the show in daytime with Art Fleming as the host. (The show would eventually become associated with Alex Trebek, of course, but originally, Art Fleming was the man with the answers, hoping you would ask him the right questions.)

NOTE: the show even back then still used the famous 30-second think music for Final Jeopardy! Merv himself did write that; the cue is said to have brought him over $80 million in royalties. Now that's how to assure yourself a great retirement!

What I have attempted to do here is a piano solo rendition of that very song, and if I got this wrong, I'm sorry. The original audio I used to help me write this isn't in very good quality, but it was requested on my YouTube channel that I do this, since the majority of subscribers want to hear TV game show music from me. Almost nobody else has been doing that (as far as I know), whereas with the video game music, for example, lots of people do that.
