G.U.N. Tech Report: Battle Operational Nanite-Driven Suit Developed by R&D’s Lead Engineer, Dr. Query the Quail, the B.O.N.D. Suit is a new paradigm of uniforms that can be light as silk, as flexible as nylon, and as durable as steel, all while providing our agents cover in the field and be easily fitted to any body type. When inactive, the Suit’s nanites are contained within a wristwatch, able to be released into Standby Mode or Battle Mode with the push of a button- whereupon they will spread along the body of the watch’s current wearer, quickly mapping a 3-Dimensional measurement of their figure and attach nanites through metallic bonds, forming a smooth outer layer while the internal nanite layers develop a symbiosis to the wearer.*
In Standby Mode, the B.O.N.D. Suit is programmed to behave like normal clothing so as not to rouse outside suspicion as to its true abilities (useful for covert operations; recommend Agent Rouge to test this function). In Battle Mode, nanites are programmed to ‘lock’ in place around the wearer to reduce risk of loose accessories, thus the Suit cannot be taken off until Battle Mode has been disengaged. (See p. 12 for a closer examination of the B.O.N.D. watch’s operations.)
The mutability of the nanites in this Suit should offer many benefits to agents; the color and appearance may change to reflect one’s surroundings and create camouflage, the position and density of nanites can be rearranged to form battle gauntlets, lockpicks, or other devices on a whim, and aforementioned intelligent space-mapping of the nanites should ensure that any wearer will be given a perfect fit when the Suit is applied to them.** Note, however, that the Suit has demonstrated a weakness to electric currents; a powerful shock or EM wave will scramble the nanites’ ability to adhere properly to the wearer.
As of its current build, the Suit has only shown itself capable of emerging as a black-tie formal tuxedo, with other clothing alternatives currently in-progress. Reminder to press R&D for updates.***
Because of his demonstrated interest in physical combat and common residence in City Escape, site of our main headquarters, Restoration member Frost the Snow Leopard**** has been selected as one of the first candidates to receive a B.O.N.D. Watch for testing. Please ensure the instructions for operation are included in the package; we can only hope that this test run will encourage a cooperation between the Restoration and G.U.N. in future missions.
*Should the cluster of nanites in the watch be insufficient to the surface area of designated wearer, they can dissemble compatible non-organic matter nearby to manufacture other nanites.
**Extra functions, such as the creation of firearms from the nanites or miniaturized injections of compounds that would increase muscle or figure growth in the Suit’s wearer, have been proposed.
***When asked why he insisted on a tuxedo for the default appearance instead of a regular uniform, Dr. Query simply answered “it’s more dashing that way!”. Reminder to staff to better scrutinize the Doctor’s work next time BEFORE he presents them for implementation in the field.
****Subject Frost has demonstrated little fondness for our organization prior. Broach the subject of this delivery to him with caution; we can’t afford more negative press at this time.

So happy to be sharing this piece with you all; I've been wanting to do more G.U.N. stuff for a while and the idea of forcing Frost into a spiffy James Bond-style tux has been in my head just as long. Though I think it was getting into the work of Nico--Neko a month ago that REALLY galvanized me to work on this; he's incredibly talented at conveying the appeal of shiny fabrics like satin or leather, and I wanted to try doing that with a more 'metallic' sort of outfit like this one. Honestly, pretty happy with the results of the experiment! ^^
...Frost isn't, he's never liked dressing up all fancy and stuff. But I don't think he's gonna have a lot of choice in the matter...
