Bucky’s earliest dream-like memories were of an elderly deer he thought was maybe his elderly father or grandpa, but it turns out it was actually his older self, with thanks to Jane Doe inventing a portable time travel device, Old Bucky found out that he was the one who raised his baby self until he was old enough, and even then, kept an eye on him from afar until he safely reached adulthood.
So yes, Bucky is the product of a time loop, while he is initially sad to find out the father/grandpa figure he thought was his family turned out to be himself, he was glad that he was a good parent to himself.

So yes, Bucky is the product of a time loop, while he is initially sad to find out the father/grandpa figure he thought was his family turned out to be himself, he was glad that he was a good parent to himself.

The Santa Bucky version of himself is a bit luckier as he gets to keep his youthful physique (due to being a demigod) while still sporting the white hair look and big bottomed physique.
God Bucky became a god by sheer chance, and he’s overall very modest about it, and primarily focuses on spreading enlightenment and brotherhood across the universe as well as overall watching the different paths of the multiverse to make sure that everything runs smoothly, you know, the standard stuff. 😜

Probably one of the other animals who were experimented on would’ve “become” Bucky or the equivalent of him, or that simply Bucky would have lived the life of a normal deer. Those are the most probable situations but the true extent of the possibilities are almost limitless.
He has, or rather, different versions of him and his Jane Doe have met other counterparts of themselves from across the multiverse, and they tend to have a familial or close friendship-like bond with one another, with God Bucky being like a leader/father figure to them all due to him being the eldest and having the most experience/wisdom out of all them.
