Ah these characters are yours, what's the story behind them, I mean the relationship between wizard-guy and Edward in particular, thanks!

Long story short.. Edward was a feral fox that died and was brought back by the BBEG of the D&D campaign to be one of eight arcane vessels that would help free him from his prison.. Edward is dumb and didn't know that so he was pretty much immune to what was going on and he ended up getting adopted by Bhanhild (The dragon who also runs the bard college). The adoption part came much later but he felt for the fox who was clueless and alone so he took him in and let him attend the college for free.
