I'd write a story but honestly this already perfectly tells a tale visually. I just imagine the setup is Dies getting lured to Professor Sada's lab by invitation and agreeing to go more out of skeptical curiosity. He's not a Pokemon trainer in this universe, but remained in academics. So of course he ignores the warning signs and gets turned into a hulking, dumb, metal cave man for it. The pants turn into a brown loincloth because of something something rusted.
