Buck Brothers: American Independence Day (7/4/24)
Today in the Vexillological Corner...
The Fourth of July is Independence Day for the 🇺🇸 United States. This day is the day that unites all the American out there to celebrate America's Independence.
While that is good for most, some college missions are affected during the Fourth of July. Though there is a mission that is big for both of us, it still required to be cleared.
Numerous American Flags are sold around this year and I aim for the FMAA Certified Flags for authenticity and they are good enough for animating. Plus, I know it is forbidden to buy Flags made in China, but they do serve a good purpose, especially the ones at a Dollar Tree, I turn them into little flagpoles as little stop motion props. I am still annoyed that they only sell them ONCE a year.
Also, you know what is funny with the American Flags made overseas? The Stars on the flag (such as @standflagpoles) are slightly larger than the anninflagmakers variant and they are smaller! I thought it was a bit hilarious to think that a flag store would make Stars that big though in the U.S., they are small.
