hey hozzie what lens do you use? My 50mm takes nice portraits but it always seems too dark for it unless I want F2 at ISO1600 or something, or to use the flash, and the flash is not flattering to fursuits. I'll probably have to use my cheapo 18-55mm. Have you ever tried a softbox for the flash? I was wondering if I should get an external flash and one of those cheap little soft boxes that fit over the end of it...
