Yeah I feel like having two pairs of lungs would help in being able to talk like a human and also meet the air needs of being way bigger, and having at least a "crop" type stomach in the upper body is fun.
The book "The Princess Beard" had a centaur mention having a valve in his throat that could shunt things into one of two digestive tracts, a humanlike one and one that's not *horse* exactly but can get a lot out of grains, and they meet up again at a common point. That's fun too!
