Phernia leaned against her husband, her crimson scales gently brushing against his.
The large storm dragon rumbled silently, lowering one of his forepaws on her own.
"I agree... just the two of us, accompanied by the serene embrace of night."
Their eyes wandered across the lake, the moon's reflection casting them
in an incandescent yet clandestine night.
"You know..." the dragoness whispered. "...it might not be just the two of us for much longer..."
Tempest turned his head, his gaze laid entirely on his beloved flame.
"You mean..."
"Mhmmm..."
For a few moments, no further words were said - for no further words were needed.
Eventually, the azure's head rested upon his mate's, their tails entwined as they purred to one another.
"I love you, my little wildfire."
"I love you too, my dear thunderstorm."
My heart is MELTING.
I have postponed art of these two for FAR TOO LONG and I am SO GLAD I finally got them something.
