So, not only would a 'bird island' that works in the same way as that rabbit island in Japan (but with surrender pet birds like canaries, other finches, budgerigars etc.) not work particularly well, because they might not be suitable to the climate and they could easily fly away, but planting things on Sauria that aren't already existing there is too risky for the ecosystem, as was told to us by the person at the garden centre.
