I've been playing some custom levels for Ultrakill and had an idea for a potential custom enemy. Weird-looking lightbulb, huh?
Dominions are flying angel enemies that move like a mix between a mind flayer and a drone. They create 3 semi-auto bursts of 30 damage shockwaves in the air and in the direction where it's facing the player in its line of sight with a cooldown of 4 seconds. They have a yellow hook point for a head, which can be whiplashed to expose their weak point for 7 seconds (12 if whiplashed at the same time as it's parry window. The ring thing with the heads continuously rotates and can block the whiplash hook when not timed correctly, but will freeze when it's about to attack.
When exposed, they will be stationary, flip onto their back at a 90-degree angle, and open their wings. They will then charge up a beam that tracks the player's movement, dealing 20 damage per hit. Once the exposure time has ended, the beam will end in a high-radius red explosion, dealing 50 damage. On Violent and above, it will enrage afterward, making its attacks more frequent, its beam charge-up time almost immediate, and its beam having better tracking. On brutal, the ring thing (I still don't know how I would describe it as) will rotate even faster, making it harder to whiplash.
EDIT: Changed the wing color to white for the base form
