Anthrocon 2024 - Duck Cuddles by Heather Bruton
My first Anthrocon sketch went to 
hbruton and captures a fantastic moment from this Spring. I took my daughter to a local petting zoo we always love visiting and she managed to befriend one of the ducks. At first she was just petting the duck who would nip at her hands with his beak whenever he felt uncomfortable. But eventually, after at least twenty minutes effort, she won him over and was able to cradle him in her arms. I was astonished at the sight and made sure she knew how proud I was of her.
