Chapter 1: An Enlightening Encounter

In the vast universe, we can see the whole Earth while the camera slowly zooms towards it.
“Earth… A planet which was inhabited not just by mankind, but the strange, mysterious creatures called Pocket Monsters, or Pokémon for short.” The narrator said as we can see lots of small holograms of all kinds of Pokémon.
Then the camera swooshes through the atmosphere and now flies over the ocean and the land.
“From the skies above, to the land below, the sea, and of course the cities, there are countless numbers of them who are possible to be discovered.” The narrator continued.
“Some remain secret to all but a select few. Others have become the stuff of legend. And there are those who are born from our dreams. Like the Pokémon themselves, these tales have survived the test of time.” The narrator continued as the scene showed the Legendary Pokémon around the world.
“And with each passing day, countless adventures unfold from the top of the world to the bottom of the sea. There are over 1000 known species that continuously add to the Pokémon lore. But they don't do it alone…” The narrator continues.
At the stadium one of the trainers who came from Pallet Town, throws the Poké Ball and releases the dragonic, bipedal Pokémon with a fire on its tail, Charizard.
The trainer’s opponent is another trainer from New Bark Town, chooses Typhlosion and both Pokémon start to battle each other.
“Humans and Pokémon often team up for sporting competitions. By combining strength, courage, wisdom and trust, the partners hope to emerge victorious in what are known as Pokémon battles.” The narrator continues as the scene shows where a girl from Littleroot Town, riding on her bicycle while she saw Latias and Latios flies in the sky.
“Together, Pokémon and humans share the world in friendship, peace, and harmony.” The narrator continues as the scenes show more from Kanto to Paldea region, and shows the relationship between Pokémon and humans.
♫Pokémon Movie 6 BGM - Avant ~ Groudon's Theme♫
“But not all intentions are pure.” A narrator continues while in the sky, there’s a large, green, serpentine Pokémon emerging from the ground and roaring.
“There are those who would take advantage of the most fearsome and powerful Pokémon to achieve goals of control, domination, and power. Rayquaza, one of the Super-ancient Pokémon, was targeted by a group that brought the cyclone in the sky.” The narrator said as Rayquaza was flying off to the ozone layer and heading to space while the giant flying fortress floated slowly in the sky.

“But every story has a beginning of a new adventure. And this adventure will follow our new hero who departs on a journey to meet a new mysterious Pokémon.” The narrator finished.

In the house of Alola Route 1, there lives a young blue bikini-haired woman who’s 18 years old.
She wears a Moonstone blue shirt with dark strong blue patterns, a skirt with the same colors from her shirt, with a black belt and dark strong blue Poké Ball patterns.
And she has black stockings, shorts, black gloves with blue bracelets and black undershirt.
Her name is SORIA, and she’s looking in a mirror and putting on the hair clip which looks like the symbol of a Flyinium Z, and putting on the necklace with a Lunar Wing around her neck.
“This is it. Today, this is my first day of my journey to setting off to traveling this Pokémon world! And I want to meet all kinds of Flying-Type Pokémon!” Soria said as she strolls towards the window and opens it up.
“ALOLA, POKÉMON WORLD! YOU’D BETTER LOOK OUT, FOR HERE COMES SORIA!!” She shouted happily from the top of her lungs.
The camera zoomed out from her house, to the bird’s eye view of Melemele Island, her birthplace and her home. But her home is in the Alola region with four islands.
“This is Melemele Island, one of several islands that make up the Alola Region. And this is where a young woman named Soria started her journey to explore the whole world to meet all Flying-type Pokémon.” The narrator said.
In the family living room, Soria’s mother, Scarlett (40 years old), was looking for her paperwork on the table, but she couldn’t find it.
“Oh no, where did I put that paperwork?” Scarlett asked as her husband, Andrew (42 years old) stood with her.
“Maybe in your old bag?” Andrew asked.
“That’s it!” Scarlett said as she remembers where she put the paperwork on the table and gets up and strolls to her old bag. “I’ll be home late because of the welcome party. Can you handle dinner?”
“Okay, no problem.” Andrew said as he saw Soria come out of her bedroom. “Oh, and look who’s ready for her journey?”

“Alola, everybody! And good morning!” Soria greets.
“Alola, big sister! You looked energetic today.” Her sister, Kalea (14 years old) greets as Shinx hopped on the table.
“Today is the day, Kalea. I am going out to see the whole world and meet all Flying-Type Pokémon and befriend them.” Soria said.
“You still love the Flying-Type Pokémon, hmm?” Kalea smirks while showing her mischievous expression at Soria.
“I do. One day, I’m going to fly with them and soar in the air, but–” Soria replied, but then her stomach growls, looking sheepishly and holding her belly. “... I can’t go on a journey with an empty stomach.”
Comically, Kalea hangs her head at the left awkwardly as Scarlett puts the plate with three fresh baked malasadas.
“Here you go, Soria. Fresh baked malasadas, coming up.” Scarlett said as Soria looked excitedly at the malasadas.
“Oh boy! Malasadas! My favorite!” Soria squeals excitedly.
“All foods are your favorite, Soria.” Kalea giggled.
“Yeah, so true. But my top favorite ones from the Galar region are Sweet Pasta Curry and Burger-Steak Curry.” Soria said as she sat in the chair.
“So what’s next? Gigantamax Curry?” Kalea teased, and Soria gasped awkwardly.
“Oh, don’t be silly. Even though I would eat it, it didn’t work on me to become a giant woman. Besides, it only works for Pokémon.” Soria said.
“Heh! I’m just kidding!” Kalea said while Soria shrugged, and then she started to eat the first malasada, and hummed delightedly.
Then after she finished her breakfast, she picked up her bag and put on her sneaker-clad feet.
“Did you forget everything, Soria?” Scarlett asked.
“Nope! I got everything I had.” Soria replied while smiling.
“Oh, really? You've forgotten two Pokémon with you.” Scarlett said as she picked up two Poké Balls from the table and extended her hands to her daughter.
“Ah, right!” Soria gasped. “Tropius and Swanna! I caught them back in Unova six years ago.”
Then she put two Poké Balls in her bag, and then hugged Scarlett.
“I wish you good luck and have a safe journey, Soria.” Scarlett said.
“Thanks, mom. I love you. I wish you good luck for your hard work.” Soria said.
“Okay, then, see you.” Scarlett said.
“Come visit us sometime.” Kalea said.
“Be careful, now.” Andrews said.

“I will, dad.” Soria said as she opened the door and ran out of the house and headed to the beach. “Goodbye!”
A bit later, Soria stood on the beach at the southernmost part of Melemele Island, looking at the horizon and the ocean.
She takes a deep breath and sighed; she can smell a new adventure awaits her, and says. “Alright! Now I am going out to explore the world and find all Flying Type Pokémon, and maybe become the Flying Pokémon Master.”
Soria picked up her Swanna’s Poké Ball. “Swanna, our adventure starts today. And this time… We’re going to meet our new flying friends.”
Then she’s looking at the sky, and wishes someday that she can fly up there and explore the world of Pokémon.
Suddenly…
“Alola, Soria!” A male voice came from behind her.
♫Pokémon XY Anime Unreleased BGM - Route 2 (XY M29)♫
It’s a young man who is also 18 years old like Soria, and he has gray hair, his clothes color palettes are the same as Turtonator, the Blast Turtle Pokémon.
His name is TORBEN, but his two aliases are “Tor” and “Ben”.
“Alola, Ben!” Soria greet.
“I could’ve figured that you’re out on your journey, hm?” Torben said.
“That’s right. I am going out to see the world and meet all the Flying Pokémon.” Soria said.
“I should have guessed that too. But if you’re going to leave Alola, how can you possibly head to another region?” Torben asked while smirking.
“Obviously. I am going to fly either with Swanna or Tropius. And I can fly all over the ocean either to Kanto or Sinnoh region. That’s what I am going to do.” Soria said as she looked at the ocean.
But then she heard Torben laughed and looked at him.
“Come on now, girlie.” Torben chuckles. “Ever fly with either one of our Pokémon before?”
“Well, this is my first time riding one of them, so I might want to practice before I can ride them so easily.” Soria said.
“Well, what if you’re gonna fall and hurt yourself?” Torben asked as Soria gasped slightly, and her eyes widened in disbelief.
“I’m going to fall?” Soria asked.
“Yeah, if you don’t have Ride saddle on them, it could be a problem to travel.” Torben said as Soria smacked her face, frustrated.
“You’re right. But still…” Soria sighed in frustration, but then already cheered up. “...those problems won’t stop me.”
“Very well, then how about a deal as a Pokémon Battle?” Torben asked.
“A deal? Pokémon Battle?” Soria asked.
“If you win a two-vs-two match, then you can get the Ride Pager, and summon Charizard, if you complete Kiawe’s trial at Wela Volcano Park first. And if I win, I’ll invite you to the airport, and fly with the plane that will take us to the Kanto region. I’ve ordered the tickets for it.” Torben said.
“A vacation to Kanto, huh? Very well! Then let’s see who wins the bet!” Soria said as she and Torben took 6 steps backwards.
“Let’s battle!” Torben and Soria shouted.

“I’ll start with Lycanroc! I choose you!” Torben called as he threw the Poké Ball to release Lycanroc, the Wolf Pokémon.
This male Lycanroc is in his Dusk Form which resembles a combination of its Midday and Midnight Forms.
“Wow, a Dusk Form Lycanroc! I didn’t know he could evolve either to Midday or Midnight Forms since he was a Rockruff! Soria said, amazed.
“Yeah. It’s been two years since he saw a green glow on the sunset, and then he evolved to Dusk Form Lycanroc. Pretty neat, huh?” Torben said.
“It is cool! Now let’s see if it can handle against a Grass-type!” Soria said as she threw the Poké Ball to release Tropius, the Fruit Pokémon.
“A Grass-type, huh? But don’t you know he’s a Flying-type, too?” Torben asked.
“I do. But Tropius has a few tricks in his arsenal. Tropius, use Sweet Scent!” Soria commands.
Tropius releases a pink powder from his large, broad green leaves on his back.
The Sweet Scent affects Lycanroc who was now relaxed and came at it in a trance-like state.
“Oh no. The Sweet Scent makes Lycanroc’s Evasion lower.” Torben said.
“Now, Tropius, use Magical Leaf!” Soria shouted.
Tropius released multiple light green glowing leaves at Lycanroc.
“Quick, Lycanroc, use Counter!” Torben shouted.
Before Lycanroc gets hit by Magical Leaf, the stone on the top of his head glows orange with a light green outline, and he sends the leaves back to Tropius.
Luckily, Tropius who still hovers above the ground, dodges his own attack because of his surprisingly maneuverable despite his very big and bulky size.
“Woo! He moves quickly, for sure.” Torben whoops, impressed.
“Tropius, use Razor Leaf!” Soria shouted.
Tropius flaps his wings at a fast speed, sending a barrage of light green, glowing leaves at Lycanroc and hits him.
“Yeah, it’s super effective!” Soria cheers.
“Let’s see how Tropius can dodge this! Lycanroc, Accelerock!” Torben commands.
Lycanroc surrounds itself in a white aura and then slams itself into Tropius at a high speed. Upon contact, small rocks sometimes burst out of the point of impact.
After the impact, Tropius fell towards the ground, but landed on his four legs.
“Are you okay, Tropius?” Soria asked as Tropius looked at her, and nodded; it’s still okay.
“Okay! Use your Gust attack, Tropius!” Soria commands.
Tropius flaps its top or all four of his wings at a high speed to create a huge gust of wind. But it was not effective on Lycanroc since it’s a Rock-Type.
“Lycanroc, Rock Tomb!” Torben commands.
Lycanroc becomes outlined in white energy and raises his head and howls. Multiple gray rocks outlined in white energy then form around its head in the shape of a ring.
Then, the rocks fall down on Tropius who almost manages to escape before he gets surrounded by the Rock Tomb.
Luckily Lycanroc’s attack misses the Fruit Pokémon, as Soria smiles, and then shouts, “Alright! Razor Leaf, one more time!”
And again, Tropius flaps his wings rapidly, sending glowing leaves at Lycanroc and hits the opponent.
“Hang in there, Lycanroc! Use Take Down!” Torben shouted.
The Wolf Pokémon crouches down, and a golden force field surrounds his body which becomes surrounded by a light bronze aura, and it leaps towards Tropius.
“Tropius, use your Body Slam!” Soria shouted.
Tropius falls forward onto Lycanroc and disrupts Lycanroc’s move, crushing him after they slam into the ground. A large, sauropod-like Pokémon stood up and watched the Wolf Pokémon who was now unconscious, despite not being effective, but it’s a critical hit.
“Lycanroc is unable to battle, huh?” Torben mumbles, surprised, and then he smiles at Soria and Tropius.
“Yes, way to go, Tropius!” Soria cheers as she hugs Tropius.
Torben calls his Lycanroc back into his Poké Ball, and says. “Nice battle, Soria. But this is just the beginning.”
“Yeah, I bet this is my first victory today.” Soria said as Torben chuckled as he picked up his second Poké Ball.
“Now let’s see how Tropius can handle this!” Torben said as he tossed a Poké Ball and released a Blast Turtle Pokémon, Turtonator.
“TURTOOO!!” Turtonator roared as Tropius backed off a little in fear.
“Is that… Turtonator?!” Soria gasped, amazed.
“Yup! I’ve caught this big guy at Blush Mountain on Ula'ula Island.” Torben said as Soria looked at Tropius who was scared of Fire-type Pokémon.
“Poor Tropius. Still scared of Fire-type Pokémon, hmm?” Soria asked as Tropius nodded, and then she sighed. “Oh, well, return.”
Soria calls her Tropius back into the Poké Ball, and smiles at him. “Although, you’re doing a great battle against Lycanroc. Thank you so much.”
♫Pokémon Sun and Moon Anime Unreleased BGM - Battle! Trainer (SM M03)♫
She picked up another Poké Ball and said. “And now, for my second Pokémon!” And then she tosses the Poké Ball and releases a White Bird Pokémon, Swanna.
Swanna makes a beautiful entrance, she spins before spreading her wings and makes a soft squeal before she hovers above the ground.
“Ah, Swanna! A both Water and Flying type eh? I have no idea that you’ve caught this evolved form of Ducklett. But since Turtonator is both Fire and Dragon type, he will take normal hits from Water-type moves.” Torben said.
“We’ll see about that! Swanna, use your Bubble Beam!” Soria commands.
The inside of Swanna's beak glows light blue, and she fires multiple light blue bubbles from her beak at Turtonator.
“Turtonator, use Dragon Pulse!” Torben commands.
Turtonator opens his mouth and fires a purple beam of energy and deflects Swanna’s Bubble Beam attack, then it overcomes her move, and Swanna flies off to dodge the Dragon Pulse.
“Wow…! So strong!” Swanna gasped, amazed.
“Told you, Soria!” Torben says with a snicker.
“Swanna, use Aerial Ace!” Soria commands.
Swanna flies at Turtonator and back-flips in the air, then dives at the Blast Turtle Pokémon, with her body becoming surrounded by white streaks of energy.
“Got ya. Turtonator, use Shell Trap!” Torben commands with a smirk, and Turtonator turns his shell at his opponent.
Soria saw this coming, and shouted. “Swanna, abort that attack and use Water Pulse!”
Swanna disrupts her own Aerial Ace move, and instead she releases a stream of water surrounded by rings from her beak at Turtonator’s shell.
After her move makes contact with the spikes on Turtonator's shell, the spikes explode, and Swanna flies back to Soria’s side.
“Phew! That was close.” Soria sighed.
“Wow, not bad! That was good thinking.” Torben said, impressed.
“Swanna, use Water Pulse one more time!” Soria shouted.
Again, Swanna shoots her Water Pulse from her beak, and hits Turtonator. And after the impact, Turtonator becomes confused.
“He becomes confused.” Soria said.
“Snap out of it, Turtonator! Use Dragon Pulse!” Torben shouted.
But the confusion makes Turtonator waddle around while keeping his balance, and then releases a red-orange stream of fire from his nose at his trainer, and toasts him.
“Oh boy,” he sighs, face and clothes blackened. “I guess Turtonator is too confused that he’s using his Flamethrower move.”
“Time to finish this, and I win the bet! Swanna, finish this with your Aerial Ace!” Soria commands.
But before Swanna’s doing that move, a bright white light erupts from the sky. Both trainers and their Pokémon look on in amazement as a light falls from the sky. It crashes into Farthest Hollow, the deepest part of Ten Carat Hill.
“What was that?” Soria asked as Swanna landed beside her.

“I don’t know. But it looks like the light came from the sky. Whatever that is, it fell into the center of Ten Carat Hill. We'd better check it out.” Torben said as Turtonator snapped out of his confusion.
“Right.” Soria nodded.
Soria and Torben already recall their Pokémon in the Poké Balls as they head to the caves of Ten Carat Hill. They enter the center of an X-shaped field, with patches of tall grass at the end of each path.
Then they saw a light orb which revealed a new kind of Pokémon. It’s covered in cyan fur with a white belly. Its body structure almost looks like a Meowstic, but it has a cloud-shaped collar. It has rabbit-like ears and a fox-like tail. And it has small wings on its cheeks and a blue oval-shaped gem on her forehead.
It appears that it is unconscious, and it is also injured.
“Is that… a new Pokémon?” Soria asked.
“Looks that way, doesn’t it?” Torben said. “Somehow it looks like Meowstic, but… it has different ears, tail, and a gem on its forehead.”
Soria strolls quietly and approaches that Pokémon, and knelt down to face it. She can’t help, but adore its cuteness.
“Aw, look at that. It’s so cute.” Soria coos, and then shakes her head to snap out of it. “There’s no time to waste! Poor little thing’s injured.”
Soria grabs the Pokémon in her arms, and lifts it up. “It doesn't look good, Ben.”
“I think it hurts after it falls from the sky.” Torben said.
“Geez, how did it come from the sky, if it doesn't have wings or anything like that?” Soria asked.
“I don’t know. All I know is that we better take it to the nearest Pokémon Center.” Torben said as Soria said.
“Come on! Let’s go!” Soria said as she and Torben left the Ten Carat Hill: Farthest Hollow, and headed to the Pokémon Center.

A bit later at the Pokémon Center, which is nearby her house, Soria and Torben sat on the couch and were waiting patiently. Then they saw the operation icon was turned off. The backroom doors opened and Blissey and Nurse Joy walked out.
“Nurse Joy, how's the Pokémon?” Soria asked.
“It’s going to be fine.” Nurse Joy replied as Soria sighs in relief.
“Although, I’ve never seen this Pokémon before. Where did it come from?” Nurse Joy asked.
“Well, while Ben and I were battling at the beach, we saw a bright light in the sky, and it fell into the center of Ten Carat Hill. I have never seen this kind of Pokémon since I read the books about them.” Soria replied.
“It fell from the sky? How could it have gotten up there? Did you see if there were any other Pokémon or a vehicle that could have been carrying it?” Nurse Joy asked.
“No, we didn’t. It just fell.” Soria replied as Nurse Joy led her and Torben into the hospital room.
In the hospital room, the Pokémon was sleeping peacefully as Soria, Torben, Nurse Joy and Blissey entered the room.
Soria looked relieved to see that this Pokémon was okay.
“Oh, I am so glad that it’s okay.” Soria said.
“Still… I wonder how this Pokémon got up in the sky.” Torben wondered as Soria carefully approached the Pokémon.
“Careful, Soria. Don’t wake it up.” Nurse Joy warned as Soria sat at the chair and looked at it.
“I don’t intend to.” Soria whispered as she looked at the Pokémon. “Oh, poor little one. Who attacked you like that? And how did you glow?”
The cyan-colored Pokémon slowly opened its eyes, and looked up at Soria who looked gently at her.

Then the creature shrieked as she jumped and let its gem glows and her body suddenly puffed up like a balloon and hovered in the air.
“Don’t hurt me! Leave my friends alone!” The Pokémon shouted as Soria yelped and jumped backwards and took steps backwards and saw the Pokémon inflate itself to the size of the basketball and can talk!
Torben, Nurse Joy and Blissey gasped in surprise after they saw what happened.
The Pokémon calms down after it sees three humans… who don’t look like they’re going to attack them.
“You humans... you aren't the ones who attacked me?” The Pokémon speaks as it deflates slowly back to its original shape and sits down on the bed, and sighed. “Phew, what a relief.”
“I-It can puff up like a balloon, and…” Soria stammered in shock.
“And it can talk, too? But how?” Torben asked.
“That must be telepathy. It’s an ability that Pokémon can speak through telepathy. Some Pokémon can understand human speech, very few can talk, although many Legendary and Mythical Pokémon can.” Nurse Joy replied.
“Telepathy, huh… This is amazing.” Soria started as she stopped as she looked stunned at the Pokémon who looked curiously at her.
“I've heard stories about a group of Pokémon that would travel the skies by using different methods of flight, one by inflating itself like a balloon. It's definitely possible that this could be that Pokémon.” Nurse Joy said.
“So this little one can… inflate itself like a balloon?” Soria asked, amazed.
“Yeah.” Nurse Joy nodded.
“Really? What do they call it?” Torben asked.
♫Pokémon Anime BGM - Pikachu Appears! (1997~1998-M10, Movie 20 Ver.)♫
“Allow me to introduce, sir.” The Pokémon speaks through telepathy as Torben dropped his sweat comically.
“Uh… “Sir”, you say?” Torben asked sheepishly.
“My name is Inflight, the Airborne Pokémon.” Inflight said as Torben and Soria’s eyes widened in shock.
“Inflight…?” Soria asked, surprised.
“And you, uhm…” Inflight started as Soria looked at it. “Was that you who carried me to this, uhm… place?”
“Yes… That’s me.” Soria replied as she remained calm before she introduced her name. “My name is Soria. And as you can see Nurse Joy healed you, and now you’re all better.”
“T-Thank you very much, Soria … I feel like a new girl again. Nothing like a good long nap after a long day of flying.” Inflight speaks as she stretches her arms.
“A long nap…?” Soria asked.
“Say, um… Inflight? Who are the people you mentioned that attacked you earlier?” Torben asked as Inflight gasped slightly.
“Well… They are some… sky people… who wear some armor and… they have a symbol which looks like… a spiral.” Inflight replied worriedly as she looked around.
“Sky people?” Soria asked as she crossed her arms and tilted her head to the right.
“What does that even mean?” Torben asked.
“People from the sky, obviously.” Inflight said. “They’re trying to attack me for no reason, and… But, I somehow escaped from them.”
“Maybe because of your inflated body. Did you… inflate yourself like a balloon? How?” Soria asked.
“With my ability “Expansation”, of course.” Inflight asked.
“Expanasation?” Soria asked.
“When I activate that ability, I focus on the power which makes me inflate like a balloon with my free will, and there’s no limit to stay inflated. I can deflate back to my normal size too. And, uhm, well… About falling, I was knocked out by a flying Pokémon when I didn't look where I’m going.” Inflight explained.
“And what about that light?” Soria asked.
“I'm actually using my Misty Explosion attack, and that explains the light.” Inflight said. “And from now on, it would be ix-nay to use that move again.”
“I… hehe, understand.” Soria chuckles sheepishly.
“If anything else you want, please come to me at the reception.” Nurse Joy said as she left the room.
“Sure thing, and thank you, Nurse Joy.” Soria said.
“So, Inflight? What about the other Pokémon you traveled with as part of the group as Nurse Joy mentioned before?” Torben asked.
“Well, we don't always stick together, but there are four of us. We each fly a different way, with me being the balloon or blimp of the group. Now come to think about it, I really hope they're doing okay with those sky people out there…” Inflight said.
There was a short moment of silence… but then, Soria took a deep breath, and she said, “Inflight… let me help you!”
“Huh?” Inflight muttered.

“I don’t know who these sky people are, but all I know is that we’re going to stop them. And I promise that I will help your friends.” Soria said.
“Really? How can you stop them?” Inflight asked.
“Because, with my two Pokémon partners, Swanna and Tropius, we can save them and defeat those sky people.” Soria said.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you so much, Soria!” Inflight cried happily as she leaped into Soria’s arms and hugged her.
“Eh, hehehe… You’re welcome.” Soria said, but without no hesitation, she hugged her back.
“So, what are you two going to do now? I am heading out to catch some Pokémon in other islands of the Alola region.” Torben asked.
“I would like to show Inflight how wonderful this Melemele Island is.” Soria said.
“Alola region? Melemele Island? This is your home island, right?” Inflight asked.
“That’s right. Do you want to see it all?” Soria asked.
“Yeah… After all, I need to stay with you for a little while as I still need a little time to recover before returning to the sky, so… Is that okay if I can stay with you?” Inflight asked.
“Sure, I am okay with that.” Soria nodded.
“Hold on, Soria.” Torben said as Soria turned her head at him. “What are you going to tell your family about Inflight?”
“I don’t know. But all I know is that I have to keep this whole thing as a secret. Until after I found out who those sky people were… I need to tell them what they need to know.” Soria said. “Besides… I don’t want to put them in danger.”
“Oh well… Maybe you’re right. Well, whatever you do. Watch your back.” Torben said as he’s about to leave the room. “And maybe we can battle again someday.”
“Sure thing. But first, we need to make our Pokémon healed again.” Soria said.
“Yeah, that too.” Torben said.

After healing their Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, Soria and Inflight are heading out to the largest city of the Alola region, Hau'oli City.
While Inflight’s hanging on Soria’s shoulder, they’re heading to Beachfront, a popular spot where locals like to gather. Even people from other towns come to Hau'oli City to visit this beach.
Soria and Inflight sat on the sandy beach, and were looking at the horizon as they’re watching some Water-Type Pokémon like Wailmer, Sharpedo, Tentacool, Wingull, Finneon and Mantyke.
Then they are heading to the Shopping District, the bustling center of the city, where the people can get everything from fashion items to popular treats to eat.
For example, they could find some fashionable clothes. Inflight’s looking at the clothes, but they were too large for her, maybe they could find a fitting size for her. But nevertheless, she found some clothes fascinating.
As they’re in the Shopping District, they’re heading to Soria’s favorite shop; Malasada shop. It is famous for its malasadas, which are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Inflight eats the malasada, and savors its taste. Then she squeals delightedly; she started to like the malasadas.
Then they are heading to Marina, a harbor where you can set out for the other islands. It's visited by many people and boats.
Soria explained to Inflight that she always takes the ferry to three other islands of Alola Region; Akala Island, Ula'ula Island and Poni Island, which makes Inflight’s eyes widen in amazement; there are other things to do more than flying.
And then, she left the city and headed to Alola Route 2.
While they’re at the Northernmost field of grass, Soria and Inflight encounter a Growlithe, Puppy Pokémon and a Fire-type.
Soria successfully catches Growlithe thanks to Rockruff she has caught early in Ten Carat Hill: Farthest Hollow.
Then they’re heading to Alola Route 3 as they read the sign. “Watch out for flying Pokémon overhead!”
But Soria she’s already aware of that, and she sees Rufflet from above and attacks her, but she already catches it with help from Growlithe.
And then they’re heading to Melemele Meadow, a large field of yellow flowers, with several elevated platforms of stone running around its edges and through its center, and it’s a paradise where the Oricorio dance.
Inflight was fascinated by yellow flowers, and she picked up one of them and smelled it, and then sighed lovely. Then she gives it to Soria who gladly takes it and then gently rubs it on the Airborne Pokémon’s head.
A bit later, they were heading to the beach in the southernmost part of this area on Route 1, and then they sat down on the sand and looked at the horizon.
“So, Inflight, what do you think?” Soria asked.
“I believe that today may be the best day of my life. Yet…” Inflight said.

“Good to hear. There are other days which are the best. Who knows, maybe?” Soria asked as she shrugged her shoulders, as she’s looking up at the sky.
“Soria, you seemed to have an interest in the skies. May I ask why?” Inflight asked.
“Well, as a matter of fact… I love all kinds of Flying-Type Pokémon.” Soria replied as Inflight’s ears raised in surprise.
“Whether they look like birds, dragons, bugs, and any kind of species, they have gracious skills to fly. Soaring through the skies, floating through the clouds and exploring the other regions.” Soria explained. “Some of them are Legendary Pokémon who are secondary types as Flying-types, including the one who has the Rainbow Feathers…”
As she mentioned the Rainbow Feathers, she remembers the evening while the sunset approached when she was 6 years old, she saw a huge Pokémon flying above them.
It looked so majestic and glowed the seven colors of the rainbow.
After she was thinking about it, she stood up, and kept looking at the sky with an exhilarating smile.
“That Pokémon inspires me someday… And I wish that I’m going up to the sky and flying among the Flying Pokémon. If only someday, I could…” Soria said.
Inflight looked at Soria; was amazed that she’s going up in the sky and flying together with the Flying-Type Pokémon, because she loves them and the skies.
“Soria… That was a wonderful wish.” Inflight coos.
Then suddenly, a thought struck her; she got an idea.
“Hey, I’ve got an idea!” Inflight cries.
“What is it, Inflight?” Soria asked as she looked down at the Airborne Pokémon.
“Maybe I can help you with that.” Inflight says as she closes her eyes, and focuses on her powers as her gem on her forehead glows, and shares the energy into Soria.
“Uh, Inflight? What are you doing?” Soria asked as she glows cyan around her body.

And then Soria began to feel bloated in a strange sort of way. The pressure building up inside of her felt rather soft and gentle, like a warm, tropical breeze blowing through her entire body, from her torso down to her limbs.
And she could feel it accumulating, doubling inside her over and over without halt.
“W-W-What’s happening to me?!” Soria asked in shock as she looked down as her chest expanded a little and her formerly flat belly bulged outwards.
Her hips and thighs began expanding as well.
“I-I-Inflight, am I…” Soria asked.
“Inflating? Yes. I am using my Expanasation ability to make you inflate like a balloon, too.” Inflight replied.
“I-I-I-I-INFLATING?!?!” Soria questioned in shock.
She could see her waistline getting bigger and bigger as she continued to fill up. Her sides were severely plumped, pulling her wider while her stomach was rapidly bulging forward.
Her entire body began to round out as her backside puffed out with the rest of her. She could feel herself getting rounder as she experienced the pressure filling her up.
“You wanted to go up to the sky, right? Well, this should do it!” Inflight said as Soria's weight decreases in any seconds.
And then Soria finds herself rising off the ground and floats upwards with no way to control where she goes. While she’s rising higher, her body stopped inflating, her body’s now a big floating balloon, much to her shock, while her arms and legs didn’t sink in her body.
“INFLIGHT! HELP ME!!” Soria yelled as she flailed like a Magikarp on the dry land.
“Don’t worry, Soria! I’m coming!” Inflight said as she’s using her ability to let her puffed up like a balloon and floats after Soria.
Soria keeps flailing in panic while she fails to notice that she’s floating higher and Inflight floats now beside her.
“I’m here, Soria. It’s going to be okay.” Inflight said.
“OKAY?! I’m inflating and floating like a Drifloon or more like a Drifblim! You called that okay?!” Soria shouted while panicking. “I don’t know why you do this to… to…”
As Soria kept shouting, as she looked down at Melemele Island from her bird’s eye view. She’s very high up, then she looked up, and then gasped in amazement as she saw the horizon of the ocean, and three other islands of Alola region, and then looking up at the sky.
“I… I can’t believe it… I’m… I’m flying…! I’m flying!” Soria stammered, but then shouts happily. “I’M FLYING!!!”
“Hehehe, not bad for the first time, eh?” Inflight asked as she floated beside happy Soria.
“That was incredible, Inflight! How could I ever–” Soria coos, then gasped in realization and fear. “Wait! If we were inflated with a lot of air we open our mouths to breathe and talk, we could deflate and whoosh in the air around like party balloons!”
“Calm down, Soria! My magical air from my ability will never come out of us as long as I can control it.” Inflight explained.
“You think?” Soria asked worriedly.
“Don’t worry. My powers are unlimited that can keep us inflated longer until you or I want to deflate.” Inflight explained as Soria was relieved and sighed.
“Phew, that was a relief. Thanks, Inflight.” Soria said as she carefully hugged Inflight’s inflated body.
“Don't mention it. Hey, I could even make you bigger if you wanted me too.” Inflight said.
“Oh, uh, thanks, but I think just this is enough, heh…” Soria said, while laughing sheepishly. “So, how can we move around when we float like this?”

“Easy peasy.” Inflight said as her gem glows to make them both glow azure, and then they both are drifting away from Melemele Island.
“W-W-Wow! We’re drifting forward…!” Soria gasped, amazed.
“With my powers from my gem, we can fly everywhere around the world. Anywhere we want, and anywhere you wish. Like I always do.” Inflight said as Soria’s eyes went eye-starred.
“YOUR POWERS ARE AMAZING, INFLIGHT!! I LOVE IT!!” Soria cried happily.
“Hehehe, thanks. Well, let’s travel around the Alola region, shall we?” Inflight asked.
“Yes! Let’s go!” Soria said as she and Inflight are floating away from Melemele Island.
It took approximately 10 minutes during their flight, Soria and Inflight arrived at Akala Island, the northernmost of the four major islands of Alola. She first floats over Konikoni City, then Diglett's Tunnel, and then to Heahea City.
And then Soria and Inflight were floated ahead to Pikachu Valley at Route 4, Paniola Town, Paniola Ranch, Wela Volcano, and then Lush Jungle.
While Soria is high up, she’s unaware of the people looking up at her, their faces displaying the same emotions as amazement, surprise, and wonder.
Next island is Ula'ula Island. It took 10 minutes before Soria and Inflight arrived and floated first over Malie City, and Malie Garden.
Then they’re going up higher and higher to see Mount Hokulani, and then they’re heading to Mount Lanakila; the highest mountain of the Alola region.
Soria was amazed that she floated to the top of the mountain, and was above the sea of clouds which amazes her a lot. But it’s very cold up here, so she’s freezing. Inflight carefully hugs Soria around her body to keep her warm.
“Inflight?” Soria asked.
“I just want to give you some warmth, hopefully.” Inflight replied as Soria gave her a hug back.
“Thank you.” Soria soothes.
Then they’re descending towards the Tapu Village, and then they’re heading to Blush Mountain, and then they’re heading to Haina Desert. Lucky for Soria and Inflight who were high up so they could see the paths of the desert maze.
And so, they’re heading to Poni Island after they've been flying for 25 minutes after they’ve left Ula’ula Island.
First they float above the Exeggutor Island, a small island roughly shaped like an Alolan Exeggutor, where many Exeggcute and Alolan Exeggutor live. Some Exeggutor blend in with the palm trees that mark the island and use them as camouflage.
“Are these Exeggutor different from what I saw in different regions?” Inflight asked.
“Yeah, Alola is the best environment for this Pokémon. Local people take pride in its appearance, saying this is how Exeggutor ought to look. As it grew taller and taller, it outgrew its reliance on psychic powers, while within it awakened the power of the sleeping dragon.” Soria explained.
“Dragon? Wait… You mean this Alolan Exeggutor is both Grass and Dragon type?” Inflight asked, amazed.
“Yeah, that’s right.” Soria nodded.
“This is amazing… I always wanted to visit this region.” Inflight said.

Then they left Exeggutor Island, and now floated over from Seafolk Village, to Poni Wilds, Poni Plains, Ancient Poni Path, Vast Poni Canyon and then Poni Altar.
“Why do people call this place Poni Altar?” Inflight asked.
“Well, the people renamed it since the four guardian deities of Alola took two trainers there and gave them a Sun Flute and a Moon Flute, respectively. With the melody of both flutes, they caused the Altar to release a bright light that caused two Cosmoem to evolve into the Legendary Pokémon Lunala and Solgaleo, respectively. And then they fought against a group of Ultra Beasts that had arrived in Alola.” Soria explained.
“Ultra Beasts?!” Inflight asked. “Never heard of it.”
“Oh, they’re just a group of extradimensional Pokémon who have gone through Ultra Space.” Soria replied.
“Wow… That’s very interesting.” Inflight said, fascinated.
As they’re floating above the Poni Island, Soria can’t help it, but loves this buoyant feeling; floats in the sky while being inflated. But it seems like it’s almost sunset, and it’s time for her to go home.
“Inflight, I would like to float up here any longer, but I have to go back to Melemele Island. I need to sleep in my bed before it gets dark out here.” Soria said.
“Okay. I’ll take us to your island as soon as possible.” Inflight said as they started to float away from the Poni Altar and heading out to the ocean.
Meanwhile at Melemele Island, Torben was looking for Soria, and was trying to find her, but he couldn’t find her all over the whole island.
“Soria! Soria! Where are you?” Torben called, but did not respond so he sighs, “Oh, man, where the heck did she go? Probably she went to her house and went to sleep already.”
Then he’s heading back to Hau'oli City to get some sleep too.

After a 10 minutes flight over the ocean, Soria’s arrived at Melemele Island, and saw the full moon.
She rotated to look at the full moon and gasped silently, but delighted, “This is beautiful… The moon is so beautiful when I float up here.”
“Yeah… I was thinking the same thing. But can we gaze at the moon later once we get down to the beach after we deflate back to normal?” Inflight asked as they floated slowly down to the beach at the southernmost part of Melemele Island.
“Sure thing.” Soria said as Inflight focuses on her powers which makes her gem glows.
And then as they descended to the beach, their spherical bodies started to deflate slowly, their bloated arms, and legs shrinking until they are normal form and sizes again and they both are no longer ballooned forms.
“Ah, there we go.” Soria said as she stretched her arms and legs. “Even when I am back to my normal state, I still miss floats in the sky.”
“Don’t worry, Soria, we can do that tomorrow if you want to.” Inflight said.
“That shall be fun.” Soria said as she was thinking about her family. “Inflight, I think you need to get in my bag. I don’t want to show you to my family, not just yet.”
“Hmm, I think that’s a good idea.” Inflight said as she climbed into Soria’s shoulder and safely tucked away inside her backpack.
Then Soria’s quickly running back to her house, and goes inside. But as she went inside, there’s nobody home. It’s 19:30 at clock, but her mother, father and little sister are not there.
“Huh… Nobody home.” Soria muttered, as she picked up the letter from her mother. “Hmm… Dear Soria, we’re heading to Iki Town to watch the Festival Battle. I’ve made some Alola pancakes for you if you’re hungry.”
Comically, Soria hangs her head at the left awkwardly and mutters. “Geez, this is not quite what I was expecting.”
Inflight pops her out of the bag. “What do you mean?”
“You know, I thought they’re supposed to have their daily life at this hour; my mother reads the books, my dad’s watching the TV and my sister’s doing the chores. And me? Well, I studied the patterns of the Pokémon Battles, type advantages, and strategies.” Soria explained.
“I see. Even the legends, too?” Inflight asked.
“Yes, even the legends like the Legendary and Myth Pokémon.” Soria said.
“I see. So… Shall we eat the Alola pancakes your mother makes?” Inflight asked.

“Yes. I’m hungry after having my first flight.” Soria said as she opened the fridge and took the plate with Alola pancakes.
Then they ate the pancakes, and enjoyed the taste.
After they finish their pancakes, they head to the bedroom, and Soria changes from her regular outfit to her pajamas, and sits on her bed.
“What a day.” Soria sighed. “I mean, first I find you at Ten Carat Hill: Farthest Hollow, and then I’m flying up to the sky after I was blown up like a balloon.”
“That sounds like the beginning of your adventure, hm?” Inflight asked.
“Yeah, it sure is. I can’t believe I flew all over Alola’s region. Maybe on another day, we shall travel to the Kanto region and find some Flying Pokémon and catch them, and maybe who knows, befriends them all.” Soria said.
“That sounds like a fun adventure, Soria. For now, I would like to fly with you again.” Inflight said as she sat on the bed with Soria.
“Yeah, and maybe tomorrow, we shall tell my family about what you can do, and then we’re going out to the city to find Torben.” Soria said. “But… maybe only indoors.”
“That would work, just in case you don't get other people’s attention.” Inflight said as she hears Soria yawns loudly and stretches her arms.

“Well, let’s get some sleep, shall we?” Soria asked before she turned off the lights, and lay on her bed.
“[i]Okay. Good night, Soria.[/i]” Inflight said as she lay beside Soria who gently hugs around her.
Inflight blushes and then hugs her new friend. Speaking of friends, Inflight looked through the window and saw the full moon. She wonders if her friends will be okay and not be captured by sky people.
“(Don’t worry, my friends… I will save you, someday.)” Inflight thoughts, then she went to sleep.
This may be the mark of Soria’s first-time adventure with her new Pokémon species, Inflight with interesting powers to make her and the Pokémon trainer inflate like a balloon.
But what they don’t know is that their true adventure starts about the sky people.

Here's the first chapter of my new story of Pokémon Skies.
This chapter is about when Soria first experience her first day of adventuring, battle her rival, Torben, meet Inflight and then flies together with Inflight after she was inflated like a balloon.
I hope you like this.

In the vast universe, we can see the whole Earth while the camera slowly zooms towards it.
“Earth… A planet which was inhabited not just by mankind, but the strange, mysterious creatures called Pocket Monsters, or Pokémon for short.” The narrator said as we can see lots of small holograms of all kinds of Pokémon.
Then the camera swooshes through the atmosphere and now flies over the ocean and the land.
“From the skies above, to the land below, the sea, and of course the cities, there are countless numbers of them who are possible to be discovered.” The narrator continued.
“Some remain secret to all but a select few. Others have become the stuff of legend. And there are those who are born from our dreams. Like the Pokémon themselves, these tales have survived the test of time.” The narrator continued as the scene showed the Legendary Pokémon around the world.
“And with each passing day, countless adventures unfold from the top of the world to the bottom of the sea. There are over 1000 known species that continuously add to the Pokémon lore. But they don't do it alone…” The narrator continues.
At the stadium one of the trainers who came from Pallet Town, throws the Poké Ball and releases the dragonic, bipedal Pokémon with a fire on its tail, Charizard.
The trainer’s opponent is another trainer from New Bark Town, chooses Typhlosion and both Pokémon start to battle each other.
“Humans and Pokémon often team up for sporting competitions. By combining strength, courage, wisdom and trust, the partners hope to emerge victorious in what are known as Pokémon battles.” The narrator continues as the scene shows where a girl from Littleroot Town, riding on her bicycle while she saw Latias and Latios flies in the sky.
“Together, Pokémon and humans share the world in friendship, peace, and harmony.” The narrator continues as the scenes show more from Kanto to Paldea region, and shows the relationship between Pokémon and humans.
♫Pokémon Movie 6 BGM - Avant ~ Groudon's Theme♫
“But not all intentions are pure.” A narrator continues while in the sky, there’s a large, green, serpentine Pokémon emerging from the ground and roaring.
“There are those who would take advantage of the most fearsome and powerful Pokémon to achieve goals of control, domination, and power. Rayquaza, one of the Super-ancient Pokémon, was targeted by a group that brought the cyclone in the sky.” The narrator said as Rayquaza was flying off to the ozone layer and heading to space while the giant flying fortress floated slowly in the sky.

“But every story has a beginning of a new adventure. And this adventure will follow our new hero who departs on a journey to meet a new mysterious Pokémon.” The narrator finished.

In the house of Alola Route 1, there lives a young blue bikini-haired woman who’s 18 years old.
She wears a Moonstone blue shirt with dark strong blue patterns, a skirt with the same colors from her shirt, with a black belt and dark strong blue Poké Ball patterns.
And she has black stockings, shorts, black gloves with blue bracelets and black undershirt.
Her name is SORIA, and she’s looking in a mirror and putting on the hair clip which looks like the symbol of a Flyinium Z, and putting on the necklace with a Lunar Wing around her neck.
“This is it. Today, this is my first day of my journey to setting off to traveling this Pokémon world! And I want to meet all kinds of Flying-Type Pokémon!” Soria said as she strolls towards the window and opens it up.
“ALOLA, POKÉMON WORLD! YOU’D BETTER LOOK OUT, FOR HERE COMES SORIA!!” She shouted happily from the top of her lungs.
The camera zoomed out from her house, to the bird’s eye view of Melemele Island, her birthplace and her home. But her home is in the Alola region with four islands.
“This is Melemele Island, one of several islands that make up the Alola Region. And this is where a young woman named Soria started her journey to explore the whole world to meet all Flying-type Pokémon.” The narrator said.
In the family living room, Soria’s mother, Scarlett (40 years old), was looking for her paperwork on the table, but she couldn’t find it.
“Oh no, where did I put that paperwork?” Scarlett asked as her husband, Andrew (42 years old) stood with her.
“Maybe in your old bag?” Andrew asked.
“That’s it!” Scarlett said as she remembers where she put the paperwork on the table and gets up and strolls to her old bag. “I’ll be home late because of the welcome party. Can you handle dinner?”
“Okay, no problem.” Andrew said as he saw Soria come out of her bedroom. “Oh, and look who’s ready for her journey?”

“Alola, everybody! And good morning!” Soria greets.
“Alola, big sister! You looked energetic today.” Her sister, Kalea (14 years old) greets as Shinx hopped on the table.
“Today is the day, Kalea. I am going out to see the whole world and meet all Flying-Type Pokémon and befriend them.” Soria said.
“You still love the Flying-Type Pokémon, hmm?” Kalea smirks while showing her mischievous expression at Soria.
“I do. One day, I’m going to fly with them and soar in the air, but–” Soria replied, but then her stomach growls, looking sheepishly and holding her belly. “... I can’t go on a journey with an empty stomach.”
Comically, Kalea hangs her head at the left awkwardly as Scarlett puts the plate with three fresh baked malasadas.
“Here you go, Soria. Fresh baked malasadas, coming up.” Scarlett said as Soria looked excitedly at the malasadas.
“Oh boy! Malasadas! My favorite!” Soria squeals excitedly.
“All foods are your favorite, Soria.” Kalea giggled.
“Yeah, so true. But my top favorite ones from the Galar region are Sweet Pasta Curry and Burger-Steak Curry.” Soria said as she sat in the chair.
“So what’s next? Gigantamax Curry?” Kalea teased, and Soria gasped awkwardly.
“Oh, don’t be silly. Even though I would eat it, it didn’t work on me to become a giant woman. Besides, it only works for Pokémon.” Soria said.
“Heh! I’m just kidding!” Kalea said while Soria shrugged, and then she started to eat the first malasada, and hummed delightedly.
Then after she finished her breakfast, she picked up her bag and put on her sneaker-clad feet.
“Did you forget everything, Soria?” Scarlett asked.
“Nope! I got everything I had.” Soria replied while smiling.
“Oh, really? You've forgotten two Pokémon with you.” Scarlett said as she picked up two Poké Balls from the table and extended her hands to her daughter.
“Ah, right!” Soria gasped. “Tropius and Swanna! I caught them back in Unova six years ago.”
Then she put two Poké Balls in her bag, and then hugged Scarlett.
“I wish you good luck and have a safe journey, Soria.” Scarlett said.
“Thanks, mom. I love you. I wish you good luck for your hard work.” Soria said.
“Okay, then, see you.” Scarlett said.
“Come visit us sometime.” Kalea said.
“Be careful, now.” Andrews said.

“I will, dad.” Soria said as she opened the door and ran out of the house and headed to the beach. “Goodbye!”
A bit later, Soria stood on the beach at the southernmost part of Melemele Island, looking at the horizon and the ocean.
She takes a deep breath and sighed; she can smell a new adventure awaits her, and says. “Alright! Now I am going out to explore the world and find all Flying Type Pokémon, and maybe become the Flying Pokémon Master.”
Soria picked up her Swanna’s Poké Ball. “Swanna, our adventure starts today. And this time… We’re going to meet our new flying friends.”
Then she’s looking at the sky, and wishes someday that she can fly up there and explore the world of Pokémon.
Suddenly…
“Alola, Soria!” A male voice came from behind her.

It’s a young man who is also 18 years old like Soria, and he has gray hair, his clothes color palettes are the same as Turtonator, the Blast Turtle Pokémon.
His name is TORBEN, but his two aliases are “Tor” and “Ben”.
“Alola, Ben!” Soria greet.
“I could’ve figured that you’re out on your journey, hm?” Torben said.
“That’s right. I am going out to see the world and meet all the Flying Pokémon.” Soria said.
“I should have guessed that too. But if you’re going to leave Alola, how can you possibly head to another region?” Torben asked while smirking.
“Obviously. I am going to fly either with Swanna or Tropius. And I can fly all over the ocean either to Kanto or Sinnoh region. That’s what I am going to do.” Soria said as she looked at the ocean.
But then she heard Torben laughed and looked at him.
“Come on now, girlie.” Torben chuckles. “Ever fly with either one of our Pokémon before?”
“Well, this is my first time riding one of them, so I might want to practice before I can ride them so easily.” Soria said.
“Well, what if you’re gonna fall and hurt yourself?” Torben asked as Soria gasped slightly, and her eyes widened in disbelief.
“I’m going to fall?” Soria asked.
“Yeah, if you don’t have Ride saddle on them, it could be a problem to travel.” Torben said as Soria smacked her face, frustrated.
“You’re right. But still…” Soria sighed in frustration, but then already cheered up. “...those problems won’t stop me.”
“Very well, then how about a deal as a Pokémon Battle?” Torben asked.
“A deal? Pokémon Battle?” Soria asked.
“If you win a two-vs-two match, then you can get the Ride Pager, and summon Charizard, if you complete Kiawe’s trial at Wela Volcano Park first. And if I win, I’ll invite you to the airport, and fly with the plane that will take us to the Kanto region. I’ve ordered the tickets for it.” Torben said.
“A vacation to Kanto, huh? Very well! Then let’s see who wins the bet!” Soria said as she and Torben took 6 steps backwards.
“Let’s battle!” Torben and Soria shouted.

“I’ll start with Lycanroc! I choose you!” Torben called as he threw the Poké Ball to release Lycanroc, the Wolf Pokémon.
This male Lycanroc is in his Dusk Form which resembles a combination of its Midday and Midnight Forms.
“Wow, a Dusk Form Lycanroc! I didn’t know he could evolve either to Midday or Midnight Forms since he was a Rockruff! Soria said, amazed.
“Yeah. It’s been two years since he saw a green glow on the sunset, and then he evolved to Dusk Form Lycanroc. Pretty neat, huh?” Torben said.
“It is cool! Now let’s see if it can handle against a Grass-type!” Soria said as she threw the Poké Ball to release Tropius, the Fruit Pokémon.
“A Grass-type, huh? But don’t you know he’s a Flying-type, too?” Torben asked.
“I do. But Tropius has a few tricks in his arsenal. Tropius, use Sweet Scent!” Soria commands.
Tropius releases a pink powder from his large, broad green leaves on his back.
The Sweet Scent affects Lycanroc who was now relaxed and came at it in a trance-like state.
“Oh no. The Sweet Scent makes Lycanroc’s Evasion lower.” Torben said.
“Now, Tropius, use Magical Leaf!” Soria shouted.
Tropius released multiple light green glowing leaves at Lycanroc.
“Quick, Lycanroc, use Counter!” Torben shouted.
Before Lycanroc gets hit by Magical Leaf, the stone on the top of his head glows orange with a light green outline, and he sends the leaves back to Tropius.
Luckily, Tropius who still hovers above the ground, dodges his own attack because of his surprisingly maneuverable despite his very big and bulky size.
“Woo! He moves quickly, for sure.” Torben whoops, impressed.
“Tropius, use Razor Leaf!” Soria shouted.
Tropius flaps his wings at a fast speed, sending a barrage of light green, glowing leaves at Lycanroc and hits him.
“Yeah, it’s super effective!” Soria cheers.
“Let’s see how Tropius can dodge this! Lycanroc, Accelerock!” Torben commands.
Lycanroc surrounds itself in a white aura and then slams itself into Tropius at a high speed. Upon contact, small rocks sometimes burst out of the point of impact.
After the impact, Tropius fell towards the ground, but landed on his four legs.
“Are you okay, Tropius?” Soria asked as Tropius looked at her, and nodded; it’s still okay.
“Okay! Use your Gust attack, Tropius!” Soria commands.
Tropius flaps its top or all four of his wings at a high speed to create a huge gust of wind. But it was not effective on Lycanroc since it’s a Rock-Type.
“Lycanroc, Rock Tomb!” Torben commands.
Lycanroc becomes outlined in white energy and raises his head and howls. Multiple gray rocks outlined in white energy then form around its head in the shape of a ring.
Then, the rocks fall down on Tropius who almost manages to escape before he gets surrounded by the Rock Tomb.
Luckily Lycanroc’s attack misses the Fruit Pokémon, as Soria smiles, and then shouts, “Alright! Razor Leaf, one more time!”
And again, Tropius flaps his wings rapidly, sending glowing leaves at Lycanroc and hits the opponent.
“Hang in there, Lycanroc! Use Take Down!” Torben shouted.
The Wolf Pokémon crouches down, and a golden force field surrounds his body which becomes surrounded by a light bronze aura, and it leaps towards Tropius.
“Tropius, use your Body Slam!” Soria shouted.
Tropius falls forward onto Lycanroc and disrupts Lycanroc’s move, crushing him after they slam into the ground. A large, sauropod-like Pokémon stood up and watched the Wolf Pokémon who was now unconscious, despite not being effective, but it’s a critical hit.
“Lycanroc is unable to battle, huh?” Torben mumbles, surprised, and then he smiles at Soria and Tropius.
“Yes, way to go, Tropius!” Soria cheers as she hugs Tropius.
Torben calls his Lycanroc back into his Poké Ball, and says. “Nice battle, Soria. But this is just the beginning.”
“Yeah, I bet this is my first victory today.” Soria said as Torben chuckled as he picked up his second Poké Ball.
“Now let’s see how Tropius can handle this!” Torben said as he tossed a Poké Ball and released a Blast Turtle Pokémon, Turtonator.
“TURTOOO!!” Turtonator roared as Tropius backed off a little in fear.
“Is that… Turtonator?!” Soria gasped, amazed.
“Yup! I’ve caught this big guy at Blush Mountain on Ula'ula Island.” Torben said as Soria looked at Tropius who was scared of Fire-type Pokémon.
“Poor Tropius. Still scared of Fire-type Pokémon, hmm?” Soria asked as Tropius nodded, and then she sighed. “Oh, well, return.”
Soria calls her Tropius back into the Poké Ball, and smiles at him. “Although, you’re doing a great battle against Lycanroc. Thank you so much.”

She picked up another Poké Ball and said. “And now, for my second Pokémon!” And then she tosses the Poké Ball and releases a White Bird Pokémon, Swanna.
Swanna makes a beautiful entrance, she spins before spreading her wings and makes a soft squeal before she hovers above the ground.
“Ah, Swanna! A both Water and Flying type eh? I have no idea that you’ve caught this evolved form of Ducklett. But since Turtonator is both Fire and Dragon type, he will take normal hits from Water-type moves.” Torben said.
“We’ll see about that! Swanna, use your Bubble Beam!” Soria commands.
The inside of Swanna's beak glows light blue, and she fires multiple light blue bubbles from her beak at Turtonator.
“Turtonator, use Dragon Pulse!” Torben commands.
Turtonator opens his mouth and fires a purple beam of energy and deflects Swanna’s Bubble Beam attack, then it overcomes her move, and Swanna flies off to dodge the Dragon Pulse.
“Wow…! So strong!” Swanna gasped, amazed.
“Told you, Soria!” Torben says with a snicker.
“Swanna, use Aerial Ace!” Soria commands.
Swanna flies at Turtonator and back-flips in the air, then dives at the Blast Turtle Pokémon, with her body becoming surrounded by white streaks of energy.
“Got ya. Turtonator, use Shell Trap!” Torben commands with a smirk, and Turtonator turns his shell at his opponent.
Soria saw this coming, and shouted. “Swanna, abort that attack and use Water Pulse!”
Swanna disrupts her own Aerial Ace move, and instead she releases a stream of water surrounded by rings from her beak at Turtonator’s shell.
After her move makes contact with the spikes on Turtonator's shell, the spikes explode, and Swanna flies back to Soria’s side.
“Phew! That was close.” Soria sighed.
“Wow, not bad! That was good thinking.” Torben said, impressed.
“Swanna, use Water Pulse one more time!” Soria shouted.
Again, Swanna shoots her Water Pulse from her beak, and hits Turtonator. And after the impact, Turtonator becomes confused.
“He becomes confused.” Soria said.
“Snap out of it, Turtonator! Use Dragon Pulse!” Torben shouted.
But the confusion makes Turtonator waddle around while keeping his balance, and then releases a red-orange stream of fire from his nose at his trainer, and toasts him.
“Oh boy,” he sighs, face and clothes blackened. “I guess Turtonator is too confused that he’s using his Flamethrower move.”
“Time to finish this, and I win the bet! Swanna, finish this with your Aerial Ace!” Soria commands.
But before Swanna’s doing that move, a bright white light erupts from the sky. Both trainers and their Pokémon look on in amazement as a light falls from the sky. It crashes into Farthest Hollow, the deepest part of Ten Carat Hill.
“What was that?” Soria asked as Swanna landed beside her.

“I don’t know. But it looks like the light came from the sky. Whatever that is, it fell into the center of Ten Carat Hill. We'd better check it out.” Torben said as Turtonator snapped out of his confusion.
“Right.” Soria nodded.
Soria and Torben already recall their Pokémon in the Poké Balls as they head to the caves of Ten Carat Hill. They enter the center of an X-shaped field, with patches of tall grass at the end of each path.
Then they saw a light orb which revealed a new kind of Pokémon. It’s covered in cyan fur with a white belly. Its body structure almost looks like a Meowstic, but it has a cloud-shaped collar. It has rabbit-like ears and a fox-like tail. And it has small wings on its cheeks and a blue oval-shaped gem on her forehead.
It appears that it is unconscious, and it is also injured.
“Is that… a new Pokémon?” Soria asked.
“Looks that way, doesn’t it?” Torben said. “Somehow it looks like Meowstic, but… it has different ears, tail, and a gem on its forehead.”
Soria strolls quietly and approaches that Pokémon, and knelt down to face it. She can’t help, but adore its cuteness.
“Aw, look at that. It’s so cute.” Soria coos, and then shakes her head to snap out of it. “There’s no time to waste! Poor little thing’s injured.”
Soria grabs the Pokémon in her arms, and lifts it up. “It doesn't look good, Ben.”
“I think it hurts after it falls from the sky.” Torben said.
“Geez, how did it come from the sky, if it doesn't have wings or anything like that?” Soria asked.
“I don’t know. All I know is that we better take it to the nearest Pokémon Center.” Torben said as Soria said.
“Come on! Let’s go!” Soria said as she and Torben left the Ten Carat Hill: Farthest Hollow, and headed to the Pokémon Center.

A bit later at the Pokémon Center, which is nearby her house, Soria and Torben sat on the couch and were waiting patiently. Then they saw the operation icon was turned off. The backroom doors opened and Blissey and Nurse Joy walked out.
“Nurse Joy, how's the Pokémon?” Soria asked.
“It’s going to be fine.” Nurse Joy replied as Soria sighs in relief.
“Although, I’ve never seen this Pokémon before. Where did it come from?” Nurse Joy asked.
“Well, while Ben and I were battling at the beach, we saw a bright light in the sky, and it fell into the center of Ten Carat Hill. I have never seen this kind of Pokémon since I read the books about them.” Soria replied.
“It fell from the sky? How could it have gotten up there? Did you see if there were any other Pokémon or a vehicle that could have been carrying it?” Nurse Joy asked.
“No, we didn’t. It just fell.” Soria replied as Nurse Joy led her and Torben into the hospital room.
In the hospital room, the Pokémon was sleeping peacefully as Soria, Torben, Nurse Joy and Blissey entered the room.
Soria looked relieved to see that this Pokémon was okay.
“Oh, I am so glad that it’s okay.” Soria said.
“Still… I wonder how this Pokémon got up in the sky.” Torben wondered as Soria carefully approached the Pokémon.
“Careful, Soria. Don’t wake it up.” Nurse Joy warned as Soria sat at the chair and looked at it.
“I don’t intend to.” Soria whispered as she looked at the Pokémon. “Oh, poor little one. Who attacked you like that? And how did you glow?”
The cyan-colored Pokémon slowly opened its eyes, and looked up at Soria who looked gently at her.

Then the creature shrieked as she jumped and let its gem glows and her body suddenly puffed up like a balloon and hovered in the air.
“Don’t hurt me! Leave my friends alone!” The Pokémon shouted as Soria yelped and jumped backwards and took steps backwards and saw the Pokémon inflate itself to the size of the basketball and can talk!
Torben, Nurse Joy and Blissey gasped in surprise after they saw what happened.
The Pokémon calms down after it sees three humans… who don’t look like they’re going to attack them.
“You humans... you aren't the ones who attacked me?” The Pokémon speaks as it deflates slowly back to its original shape and sits down on the bed, and sighed. “Phew, what a relief.”
“I-It can puff up like a balloon, and…” Soria stammered in shock.
“And it can talk, too? But how?” Torben asked.
“That must be telepathy. It’s an ability that Pokémon can speak through telepathy. Some Pokémon can understand human speech, very few can talk, although many Legendary and Mythical Pokémon can.” Nurse Joy replied.
“Telepathy, huh… This is amazing.” Soria started as she stopped as she looked stunned at the Pokémon who looked curiously at her.
“I've heard stories about a group of Pokémon that would travel the skies by using different methods of flight, one by inflating itself like a balloon. It's definitely possible that this could be that Pokémon.” Nurse Joy said.
“So this little one can… inflate itself like a balloon?” Soria asked, amazed.
“Yeah.” Nurse Joy nodded.
“Really? What do they call it?” Torben asked.

“Allow me to introduce, sir.” The Pokémon speaks through telepathy as Torben dropped his sweat comically.
“Uh… “Sir”, you say?” Torben asked sheepishly.
“My name is Inflight, the Airborne Pokémon.” Inflight said as Torben and Soria’s eyes widened in shock.
“Inflight…?” Soria asked, surprised.
“And you, uhm…” Inflight started as Soria looked at it. “Was that you who carried me to this, uhm… place?”
“Yes… That’s me.” Soria replied as she remained calm before she introduced her name. “My name is Soria. And as you can see Nurse Joy healed you, and now you’re all better.”
“T-Thank you very much, Soria … I feel like a new girl again. Nothing like a good long nap after a long day of flying.” Inflight speaks as she stretches her arms.
“A long nap…?” Soria asked.
“Say, um… Inflight? Who are the people you mentioned that attacked you earlier?” Torben asked as Inflight gasped slightly.
“Well… They are some… sky people… who wear some armor and… they have a symbol which looks like… a spiral.” Inflight replied worriedly as she looked around.
“Sky people?” Soria asked as she crossed her arms and tilted her head to the right.
“What does that even mean?” Torben asked.
“People from the sky, obviously.” Inflight said. “They’re trying to attack me for no reason, and… But, I somehow escaped from them.”
“Maybe because of your inflated body. Did you… inflate yourself like a balloon? How?” Soria asked.
“With my ability “Expansation”, of course.” Inflight asked.
“Expanasation?” Soria asked.
“When I activate that ability, I focus on the power which makes me inflate like a balloon with my free will, and there’s no limit to stay inflated. I can deflate back to my normal size too. And, uhm, well… About falling, I was knocked out by a flying Pokémon when I didn't look where I’m going.” Inflight explained.
“And what about that light?” Soria asked.
“I'm actually using my Misty Explosion attack, and that explains the light.” Inflight said. “And from now on, it would be ix-nay to use that move again.”
“I… hehe, understand.” Soria chuckles sheepishly.
“If anything else you want, please come to me at the reception.” Nurse Joy said as she left the room.
“Sure thing, and thank you, Nurse Joy.” Soria said.
“So, Inflight? What about the other Pokémon you traveled with as part of the group as Nurse Joy mentioned before?” Torben asked.
“Well, we don't always stick together, but there are four of us. We each fly a different way, with me being the balloon or blimp of the group. Now come to think about it, I really hope they're doing okay with those sky people out there…” Inflight said.
There was a short moment of silence… but then, Soria took a deep breath, and she said, “Inflight… let me help you!”
“Huh?” Inflight muttered.

“I don’t know who these sky people are, but all I know is that we’re going to stop them. And I promise that I will help your friends.” Soria said.
“Really? How can you stop them?” Inflight asked.
“Because, with my two Pokémon partners, Swanna and Tropius, we can save them and defeat those sky people.” Soria said.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you so much, Soria!” Inflight cried happily as she leaped into Soria’s arms and hugged her.
“Eh, hehehe… You’re welcome.” Soria said, but without no hesitation, she hugged her back.
“So, what are you two going to do now? I am heading out to catch some Pokémon in other islands of the Alola region.” Torben asked.
“I would like to show Inflight how wonderful this Melemele Island is.” Soria said.
“Alola region? Melemele Island? This is your home island, right?” Inflight asked.
“That’s right. Do you want to see it all?” Soria asked.
“Yeah… After all, I need to stay with you for a little while as I still need a little time to recover before returning to the sky, so… Is that okay if I can stay with you?” Inflight asked.
“Sure, I am okay with that.” Soria nodded.
“Hold on, Soria.” Torben said as Soria turned her head at him. “What are you going to tell your family about Inflight?”
“I don’t know. But all I know is that I have to keep this whole thing as a secret. Until after I found out who those sky people were… I need to tell them what they need to know.” Soria said. “Besides… I don’t want to put them in danger.”
“Oh well… Maybe you’re right. Well, whatever you do. Watch your back.” Torben said as he’s about to leave the room. “And maybe we can battle again someday.”
“Sure thing. But first, we need to make our Pokémon healed again.” Soria said.
“Yeah, that too.” Torben said.

After healing their Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, Soria and Inflight are heading out to the largest city of the Alola region, Hau'oli City.
While Inflight’s hanging on Soria’s shoulder, they’re heading to Beachfront, a popular spot where locals like to gather. Even people from other towns come to Hau'oli City to visit this beach.
Soria and Inflight sat on the sandy beach, and were looking at the horizon as they’re watching some Water-Type Pokémon like Wailmer, Sharpedo, Tentacool, Wingull, Finneon and Mantyke.
Then they are heading to the Shopping District, the bustling center of the city, where the people can get everything from fashion items to popular treats to eat.
For example, they could find some fashionable clothes. Inflight’s looking at the clothes, but they were too large for her, maybe they could find a fitting size for her. But nevertheless, she found some clothes fascinating.
As they’re in the Shopping District, they’re heading to Soria’s favorite shop; Malasada shop. It is famous for its malasadas, which are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Inflight eats the malasada, and savors its taste. Then she squeals delightedly; she started to like the malasadas.
Then they are heading to Marina, a harbor where you can set out for the other islands. It's visited by many people and boats.
Soria explained to Inflight that she always takes the ferry to three other islands of Alola Region; Akala Island, Ula'ula Island and Poni Island, which makes Inflight’s eyes widen in amazement; there are other things to do more than flying.
And then, she left the city and headed to Alola Route 2.
While they’re at the Northernmost field of grass, Soria and Inflight encounter a Growlithe, Puppy Pokémon and a Fire-type.
Soria successfully catches Growlithe thanks to Rockruff she has caught early in Ten Carat Hill: Farthest Hollow.
Then they’re heading to Alola Route 3 as they read the sign. “Watch out for flying Pokémon overhead!”
But Soria she’s already aware of that, and she sees Rufflet from above and attacks her, but she already catches it with help from Growlithe.
And then they’re heading to Melemele Meadow, a large field of yellow flowers, with several elevated platforms of stone running around its edges and through its center, and it’s a paradise where the Oricorio dance.
Inflight was fascinated by yellow flowers, and she picked up one of them and smelled it, and then sighed lovely. Then she gives it to Soria who gladly takes it and then gently rubs it on the Airborne Pokémon’s head.
A bit later, they were heading to the beach in the southernmost part of this area on Route 1, and then they sat down on the sand and looked at the horizon.
“So, Inflight, what do you think?” Soria asked.
“I believe that today may be the best day of my life. Yet…” Inflight said.

“Good to hear. There are other days which are the best. Who knows, maybe?” Soria asked as she shrugged her shoulders, as she’s looking up at the sky.
“Soria, you seemed to have an interest in the skies. May I ask why?” Inflight asked.
“Well, as a matter of fact… I love all kinds of Flying-Type Pokémon.” Soria replied as Inflight’s ears raised in surprise.
“Whether they look like birds, dragons, bugs, and any kind of species, they have gracious skills to fly. Soaring through the skies, floating through the clouds and exploring the other regions.” Soria explained. “Some of them are Legendary Pokémon who are secondary types as Flying-types, including the one who has the Rainbow Feathers…”
As she mentioned the Rainbow Feathers, she remembers the evening while the sunset approached when she was 6 years old, she saw a huge Pokémon flying above them.
It looked so majestic and glowed the seven colors of the rainbow.
After she was thinking about it, she stood up, and kept looking at the sky with an exhilarating smile.
“That Pokémon inspires me someday… And I wish that I’m going up to the sky and flying among the Flying Pokémon. If only someday, I could…” Soria said.
Inflight looked at Soria; was amazed that she’s going up in the sky and flying together with the Flying-Type Pokémon, because she loves them and the skies.
“Soria… That was a wonderful wish.” Inflight coos.
Then suddenly, a thought struck her; she got an idea.
“Hey, I’ve got an idea!” Inflight cries.
“What is it, Inflight?” Soria asked as she looked down at the Airborne Pokémon.
“Maybe I can help you with that.” Inflight says as she closes her eyes, and focuses on her powers as her gem on her forehead glows, and shares the energy into Soria.
“Uh, Inflight? What are you doing?” Soria asked as she glows cyan around her body.

And then Soria began to feel bloated in a strange sort of way. The pressure building up inside of her felt rather soft and gentle, like a warm, tropical breeze blowing through her entire body, from her torso down to her limbs.
And she could feel it accumulating, doubling inside her over and over without halt.
“W-W-What’s happening to me?!” Soria asked in shock as she looked down as her chest expanded a little and her formerly flat belly bulged outwards.
Her hips and thighs began expanding as well.
“I-I-Inflight, am I…” Soria asked.
“Inflating? Yes. I am using my Expanasation ability to make you inflate like a balloon, too.” Inflight replied.
“I-I-I-I-INFLATING?!?!” Soria questioned in shock.
She could see her waistline getting bigger and bigger as she continued to fill up. Her sides were severely plumped, pulling her wider while her stomach was rapidly bulging forward.
Her entire body began to round out as her backside puffed out with the rest of her. She could feel herself getting rounder as she experienced the pressure filling her up.
“You wanted to go up to the sky, right? Well, this should do it!” Inflight said as Soria's weight decreases in any seconds.
And then Soria finds herself rising off the ground and floats upwards with no way to control where she goes. While she’s rising higher, her body stopped inflating, her body’s now a big floating balloon, much to her shock, while her arms and legs didn’t sink in her body.
“INFLIGHT! HELP ME!!” Soria yelled as she flailed like a Magikarp on the dry land.
“Don’t worry, Soria! I’m coming!” Inflight said as she’s using her ability to let her puffed up like a balloon and floats after Soria.
Soria keeps flailing in panic while she fails to notice that she’s floating higher and Inflight floats now beside her.
“I’m here, Soria. It’s going to be okay.” Inflight said.
“OKAY?! I’m inflating and floating like a Drifloon or more like a Drifblim! You called that okay?!” Soria shouted while panicking. “I don’t know why you do this to… to…”
As Soria kept shouting, as she looked down at Melemele Island from her bird’s eye view. She’s very high up, then she looked up, and then gasped in amazement as she saw the horizon of the ocean, and three other islands of Alola region, and then looking up at the sky.
“I… I can’t believe it… I’m… I’m flying…! I’m flying!” Soria stammered, but then shouts happily. “I’M FLYING!!!”
“Hehehe, not bad for the first time, eh?” Inflight asked as she floated beside happy Soria.
“That was incredible, Inflight! How could I ever–” Soria coos, then gasped in realization and fear. “Wait! If we were inflated with a lot of air we open our mouths to breathe and talk, we could deflate and whoosh in the air around like party balloons!”
“Calm down, Soria! My magical air from my ability will never come out of us as long as I can control it.” Inflight explained.
“You think?” Soria asked worriedly.
“Don’t worry. My powers are unlimited that can keep us inflated longer until you or I want to deflate.” Inflight explained as Soria was relieved and sighed.
“Phew, that was a relief. Thanks, Inflight.” Soria said as she carefully hugged Inflight’s inflated body.
“Don't mention it. Hey, I could even make you bigger if you wanted me too.” Inflight said.
“Oh, uh, thanks, but I think just this is enough, heh…” Soria said, while laughing sheepishly. “So, how can we move around when we float like this?”

“Easy peasy.” Inflight said as her gem glows to make them both glow azure, and then they both are drifting away from Melemele Island.
“W-W-Wow! We’re drifting forward…!” Soria gasped, amazed.
“With my powers from my gem, we can fly everywhere around the world. Anywhere we want, and anywhere you wish. Like I always do.” Inflight said as Soria’s eyes went eye-starred.
“YOUR POWERS ARE AMAZING, INFLIGHT!! I LOVE IT!!” Soria cried happily.
“Hehehe, thanks. Well, let’s travel around the Alola region, shall we?” Inflight asked.
“Yes! Let’s go!” Soria said as she and Inflight are floating away from Melemele Island.
It took approximately 10 minutes during their flight, Soria and Inflight arrived at Akala Island, the northernmost of the four major islands of Alola. She first floats over Konikoni City, then Diglett's Tunnel, and then to Heahea City.
And then Soria and Inflight were floated ahead to Pikachu Valley at Route 4, Paniola Town, Paniola Ranch, Wela Volcano, and then Lush Jungle.
While Soria is high up, she’s unaware of the people looking up at her, their faces displaying the same emotions as amazement, surprise, and wonder.
Next island is Ula'ula Island. It took 10 minutes before Soria and Inflight arrived and floated first over Malie City, and Malie Garden.
Then they’re going up higher and higher to see Mount Hokulani, and then they’re heading to Mount Lanakila; the highest mountain of the Alola region.
Soria was amazed that she floated to the top of the mountain, and was above the sea of clouds which amazes her a lot. But it’s very cold up here, so she’s freezing. Inflight carefully hugs Soria around her body to keep her warm.
“Inflight?” Soria asked.
“I just want to give you some warmth, hopefully.” Inflight replied as Soria gave her a hug back.
“Thank you.” Soria soothes.
Then they’re descending towards the Tapu Village, and then they’re heading to Blush Mountain, and then they’re heading to Haina Desert. Lucky for Soria and Inflight who were high up so they could see the paths of the desert maze.
And so, they’re heading to Poni Island after they've been flying for 25 minutes after they’ve left Ula’ula Island.
First they float above the Exeggutor Island, a small island roughly shaped like an Alolan Exeggutor, where many Exeggcute and Alolan Exeggutor live. Some Exeggutor blend in with the palm trees that mark the island and use them as camouflage.
“Are these Exeggutor different from what I saw in different regions?” Inflight asked.
“Yeah, Alola is the best environment for this Pokémon. Local people take pride in its appearance, saying this is how Exeggutor ought to look. As it grew taller and taller, it outgrew its reliance on psychic powers, while within it awakened the power of the sleeping dragon.” Soria explained.
“Dragon? Wait… You mean this Alolan Exeggutor is both Grass and Dragon type?” Inflight asked, amazed.
“Yeah, that’s right.” Soria nodded.
“This is amazing… I always wanted to visit this region.” Inflight said.

Then they left Exeggutor Island, and now floated over from Seafolk Village, to Poni Wilds, Poni Plains, Ancient Poni Path, Vast Poni Canyon and then Poni Altar.
“Why do people call this place Poni Altar?” Inflight asked.
“Well, the people renamed it since the four guardian deities of Alola took two trainers there and gave them a Sun Flute and a Moon Flute, respectively. With the melody of both flutes, they caused the Altar to release a bright light that caused two Cosmoem to evolve into the Legendary Pokémon Lunala and Solgaleo, respectively. And then they fought against a group of Ultra Beasts that had arrived in Alola.” Soria explained.
“Ultra Beasts?!” Inflight asked. “Never heard of it.”
“Oh, they’re just a group of extradimensional Pokémon who have gone through Ultra Space.” Soria replied.
“Wow… That’s very interesting.” Inflight said, fascinated.
As they’re floating above the Poni Island, Soria can’t help it, but loves this buoyant feeling; floats in the sky while being inflated. But it seems like it’s almost sunset, and it’s time for her to go home.
“Inflight, I would like to float up here any longer, but I have to go back to Melemele Island. I need to sleep in my bed before it gets dark out here.” Soria said.
“Okay. I’ll take us to your island as soon as possible.” Inflight said as they started to float away from the Poni Altar and heading out to the ocean.
Meanwhile at Melemele Island, Torben was looking for Soria, and was trying to find her, but he couldn’t find her all over the whole island.
“Soria! Soria! Where are you?” Torben called, but did not respond so he sighs, “Oh, man, where the heck did she go? Probably she went to her house and went to sleep already.”
Then he’s heading back to Hau'oli City to get some sleep too.

After a 10 minutes flight over the ocean, Soria’s arrived at Melemele Island, and saw the full moon.
She rotated to look at the full moon and gasped silently, but delighted, “This is beautiful… The moon is so beautiful when I float up here.”
“Yeah… I was thinking the same thing. But can we gaze at the moon later once we get down to the beach after we deflate back to normal?” Inflight asked as they floated slowly down to the beach at the southernmost part of Melemele Island.
“Sure thing.” Soria said as Inflight focuses on her powers which makes her gem glows.
And then as they descended to the beach, their spherical bodies started to deflate slowly, their bloated arms, and legs shrinking until they are normal form and sizes again and they both are no longer ballooned forms.
“Ah, there we go.” Soria said as she stretched her arms and legs. “Even when I am back to my normal state, I still miss floats in the sky.”
“Don’t worry, Soria, we can do that tomorrow if you want to.” Inflight said.
“That shall be fun.” Soria said as she was thinking about her family. “Inflight, I think you need to get in my bag. I don’t want to show you to my family, not just yet.”
“Hmm, I think that’s a good idea.” Inflight said as she climbed into Soria’s shoulder and safely tucked away inside her backpack.
Then Soria’s quickly running back to her house, and goes inside. But as she went inside, there’s nobody home. It’s 19:30 at clock, but her mother, father and little sister are not there.
“Huh… Nobody home.” Soria muttered, as she picked up the letter from her mother. “Hmm… Dear Soria, we’re heading to Iki Town to watch the Festival Battle. I’ve made some Alola pancakes for you if you’re hungry.”
Comically, Soria hangs her head at the left awkwardly and mutters. “Geez, this is not quite what I was expecting.”
Inflight pops her out of the bag. “What do you mean?”
“You know, I thought they’re supposed to have their daily life at this hour; my mother reads the books, my dad’s watching the TV and my sister’s doing the chores. And me? Well, I studied the patterns of the Pokémon Battles, type advantages, and strategies.” Soria explained.
“I see. Even the legends, too?” Inflight asked.
“Yes, even the legends like the Legendary and Myth Pokémon.” Soria said.
“I see. So… Shall we eat the Alola pancakes your mother makes?” Inflight asked.

“Yes. I’m hungry after having my first flight.” Soria said as she opened the fridge and took the plate with Alola pancakes.
Then they ate the pancakes, and enjoyed the taste.
After they finish their pancakes, they head to the bedroom, and Soria changes from her regular outfit to her pajamas, and sits on her bed.
“What a day.” Soria sighed. “I mean, first I find you at Ten Carat Hill: Farthest Hollow, and then I’m flying up to the sky after I was blown up like a balloon.”
“That sounds like the beginning of your adventure, hm?” Inflight asked.
“Yeah, it sure is. I can’t believe I flew all over Alola’s region. Maybe on another day, we shall travel to the Kanto region and find some Flying Pokémon and catch them, and maybe who knows, befriends them all.” Soria said.
“That sounds like a fun adventure, Soria. For now, I would like to fly with you again.” Inflight said as she sat on the bed with Soria.
“Yeah, and maybe tomorrow, we shall tell my family about what you can do, and then we’re going out to the city to find Torben.” Soria said. “But… maybe only indoors.”
“That would work, just in case you don't get other people’s attention.” Inflight said as she hears Soria yawns loudly and stretches her arms.

“Well, let’s get some sleep, shall we?” Soria asked before she turned off the lights, and lay on her bed.
“[i]Okay. Good night, Soria.[/i]” Inflight said as she lay beside Soria who gently hugs around her.
Inflight blushes and then hugs her new friend. Speaking of friends, Inflight looked through the window and saw the full moon. She wonders if her friends will be okay and not be captured by sky people.
“(Don’t worry, my friends… I will save you, someday.)” Inflight thoughts, then she went to sleep.
This may be the mark of Soria’s first-time adventure with her new Pokémon species, Inflight with interesting powers to make her and the Pokémon trainer inflate like a balloon.
But what they don’t know is that their true adventure starts about the sky people.

Here's the first chapter of my new story of Pokémon Skies.
This chapter is about when Soria first experience her first day of adventuring, battle her rival, Torben, meet Inflight and then flies together with Inflight after she was inflated like a balloon.
I hope you like this.
I added the music tracks to make the story feels like anime.
