ryanwardlow has been on my watchlist a while, and although he's sometimes inactive for periods, he's back in action and open for a bunch of slots for busts like these. And they're cheap! 6 slots still open for $25 ea as of 5/28 AM

I fed him Rooth's reference page, and left the rest to him. He came up with this, inspired by Rukis's feature piece. The swirly stormy tempest surrounding Rooth is an awesome background, to go along with the paintlery style of his work on Rooth's body and face. If I had a book about Rooth, I'd be proud to put something like this on its cover, even though it's missing some color in Rooth's hair and earsails. Rukis's piece he used as reference was somewhat monochrome as well, but stormy weather tends to take the color out of things, so I'm okay with the subdued nature in both pieces.
