Is it weird that I want to fight angels? Never because I hate them, quite the opposite in fact. But because I want to get better, get stronger, to improve without end.

I see. Improving without an end? With no goal in sight?
Well, it is said, that some feel fullfilled by the journey in itself and not for the goal to reach.

Well, to be fair. The Great Master once said "There will always be someone or something stronger right around the corner." and "Move well, Study well, Play well, Eat well, Rest well, that is the Turtle Hermit way." so sometimes it will never be about the destination, it's about enjoying the journey so long as you have those you love surrounding you.

I confess I’m having trouble finding that particular verse.

The Bible differs a little depending on the translation. But if I am not in error, the certain scenario should take place in the story with Abraham, where he hides in fear as gods angel passed him by.

Would this be before or after said angels seek Lot’s hospitality in Sodom?

Before that.

Only references to angels I can find in Abraham’s tale before the Sodom and Gomorrah business is when Abraham sires Ishmael off of his wife’s servant, Hagar. And even then, the angel only appears before Hagar, not Abraham.

Then I need to reread the tale myself. Maybe I have mixed up something.

Bearing a flaming sword and with his magnificent wings and radiant halo, Eternal in this Celestial form would appear rather majestic, though with his flowing beard softening his appearance a little and giving him a grandfatherly air. Some rather beautiful detail with the design of the gauntlet and his robes with their starry pattern, along with the familiar touch of the signature crystal pendant along with the detail of the beads on his belt.

I imagine behind the blindfold one might see that Eternal's might appear as much as the night sky, a starry void that perhaps may offer a glimpse of the past or a possible future, or they might appear to blaze as intensely as the sun.

I suspect for Celestial Eternal, he might allow himself to be bound to demonstrate how it can also be freeing, physically restricted but allowing one to find a state of inner calm, letting go of burdens and troubles.
