On to the back-end, showing off the engine. The stowage on the deck serves as a kind of lever/tab that you can use to pull the piece back, so that's pretty nifty.
Since this is a US-operated Stuart and not a British one, the engine in question is likely going to be the W-670 and not the Guiberson deisel engine; I could be wrong, but from my understanding most if not all tanks in US service used petrol/gasoline engines rather than diesels, while those which were supplied to Allied nations under Lend-Lease ran on the latter type.
