Experimentally, I figure that Quetzalcoatl is discovered after the extinction of Maya due to the colonization from the Europe. Historically, Quetzalcoatl is a Godlike serpent (Although, I'm not following other gods, because I'm a monotheism).

similarly with the names, Quetzalcoaltus is a type of Pterosaurus. So, I decide to give this dinosaur a historian or archeologist. He discovers some ancient stuffs and a part of the skeletal dinosaurs that they were extinction. Also, he discovers the treasures in unknown places, like Indiana Jones (who is a professional archaeologist)
