Christmas in the Upper Midwest.

Looks like Mains Street Willimantic, Connecticut (yeah, Heroin Town) around the same time. Some of the buildings look almost identical; I wonder if they come out of a standard plan book a century earlier.

God I miss those little hole in the wall book stores.
I got 80 - 90% of all my photo books and reference
from them as well as a lot of hard to find SF / Fantasy
from authors that were always in demand.
Of course we didn't have all that funny white stuff
laying around this being a desert but still... :D

It looks like Bookstall ON The Main started at 116 E. Main St. in 1979, and then moved to 101 N. Center St. in 1985. And then the building was replaced by MainCenter condos in 2019.

Was Mike there to see if they would sell any of his books?
