A wonderful and breath taking piece by  luthien_nightwolf. Luthien really broke out the stops on this one, developing a technique all its own to paint the stars of the night sky, and Ariyah's fur. I have to say, it came out amazingly well! I loved watching day by day as it came together and the end result is more than I could have ever imagined.

Ariyah and Kayin stand, together and embraced - side by side. And as one they send their hopes, wishes and dreams out into the world. A symbolic act as much as it is a pledge between the two. The Hope for a Daughter.

I love the lanterns and stars. This piece was heavily inspired by the movie Tangled. I loved that part of the movie, it was so endearing and cute. So, here we have a little homage ^^. It came out so very beautifully.

Ah, and hopefully there will be a follow up, I think, with Akemi! At least, I can only hope! Luthien was an absolute pleasure to work with! I can only hope to more! Go, check her out.
